Hmm...I know it'd be better to just keep my trap shut, but would the BFC come into play with Sunfire's attack, since the Toughness already reduced his damage below 4? I mean, it's certainly no skin off my nose, but it seems like that's the way it would work.
Anyway, I swear I wasn't trying to throw this game, but it looks like my strategic options are quickly diminishing. Refer to my sig line.

Well, desperate times call for stastically unlikely measures. Let's see if the fickle gods of modest comebacks will smile on my bold stupidity (not that they exist, anyway. The Klingons killed them millenia ago...)
1) Havok will run interference for big brother, move to F11.
Avengers Free Move) Northstar to E7.
2) Cyclops will push to attack Sabretooth, with the CP token, attack +1. 10 to 14, and the roll is 1,1. Wow. See, the Klingons were thorough. 2 clicks to Cyke, as he apparently gives himself a hernia tripping over his shoelaces (why do they even have shoelaces?)
Aurora rests, and maybe sobs a little.

Yeah, that's not your play, that's just bad rolls . And re: Pacification, it has to do with damage -dealt-. I'm doing 4+ damage, it's reduced to 3. I deal 3 damage to Northstar, he reduces that 3 to 2 with toughness.

1) Mimic will take advantage of Inside Info one last time (in 3 arcs, this is the first he's been able to use it!). AV 8+2 vs. DV 13, needs 3. Rolls 6. That's 2 to Havok for the KO. 4 IAP Mimic.
"Allright Mariko, let's light them up."
2) Blink TKs Sunfire to D-12. (Push click.)
"No more running around for you crazy lady."
3) Sunfire on Aurora w/ RCE. AV 9 on DV 15, needs 6. Rolls 7. That's 4 damage, reduced to 2 via toughness and Pacification respectfully.

That's the thing, though, is that both the card and Toughness say that they reduce the amount of damage dealt. So, it then because a question of which reduces the damage dealt first.
Like I said, it's no biggie (I don't really think I can do much with his second-to-last click either), but as a general proposition, I'd kinda like to be sure, so I think I'll start a thread and pose the question to the greater population.
Cyclops can't use CP anymore, as his prerequisite (Leadership) was only on his first click.

1) Sabretooth smacks Cyclops. AV 8 on DV 15 w/ Blades. Rolls 4,4=8 for the hit. Blades is 2, and Cyclops takes 2 damage from Sabretooth's claws, and then a third from hitting the wall behind him from the knock back.
2) Mimic will charge to F-8 and deliver a haymaker on Cyclops. AV 8 on DV 14, needs 6. Rolls another 6. That's 2 to Cyclops for the KO. Push click to Mimic.

"Allright guys, once you knock out the speedsters, we're out of here!" Blink calls, teleporting into position to get the rest out of dodge.
1) Blink to I-12.
"Got it, Clarice! Lemme...hold on...," Sunfire called, noticing the generator in the corner. "Hmmm....that's gotta be using up some fuel....heh. Bye Jeanie." She said with a wink, as she tossed a single ball of fire into the mess, causing a massive concussive explosion, blasting Jeanne Marie into the wall behind her, knocking her out cold without causing anymore burns.
2) Sunfire to RCE Aurora. AV 9 on DV 14, needs 5. Rolls 5,5=10 for the hit, and 3 damage for the KO! Aurora's even knocked back into the wall for an extra bit, however unnecessary it was
"Don't hold back! You let them up, they'll keep coming! This isn't how you punks are used to. No kids gloves." Sabretooth yelled at the team, getting distracted enough to let Northstar get in a quick jab to his midsection. Smirking to himself that he hurt the mighty Sabretooth, the expression quickly turned to that of fear. Sabretooth turned, eyes red and teeth bared. With a roar that made everyone's insides a little colder, Victor Creed viciously cut into Northstar's face and chest, leaping upon his body, he continued to viciously cut into the man, clearly exemplifying what he had meant before about 'no mercy'. Mimic leaped into action to pull Victor off of the man, but it was too late. The battle was over.
3) Sabretooth will push to gut Northstar. AV 8 on DV 14. Needs 6. And, this is the Age of Apocalypse, no mercy, he'll use Blades. Rolls 6,4=10. That's a hit, and blades roll is a 6! Yeah, Northstar is d-e-a-d. Sabretooth's pretty stoked about it. Mimic, not so much. push click to Sabes.

Oh well, good game. As much as I'd like to blame the crappy die rolls, I think what really killed me was forgetting about the new TK rules. I guess that's the learning process for you. But you've got a really good team; I think you'll go far.
