I have two questions regarding the Starman Omnibus hardcovers that have been coming out. I read somewhere that they are supposed to collect every Starman comic from that run, I believe, including things like the four issue Shade series, etc., so I was wondering if anyone knew if that would include:

1.) The issues of Power of Shazam where they had a crossover (these were included in one of the Starman softcover trades at one point)?

2.) The two issue Batman/Hellboy/Starman comic?

I figure the first thing will probably be included, but I'm not so sure about the second one. If anyone knows the answers, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I certainly think so on both counts, as James wrote the Bats/Stars/HB mini... and I think I read the Shazam issue will be included with the corresponding Starman issues.

Sorry I can't be more help. I'm waiting to see how it all works out myself, and I owned basically all the issues (and the mini you're talking about) already. The omnibi are really nice though, and hopefully coming out more frequently as it keeps moving forward.

I would assume DC isn't going to throw away revenue by including a second company's characters in what is primarily their book, so I doubt you'll see the Hellboy stuff published with the collections, only ever on it's own.

Dang, I was wondering about those collected Avengers/JLA trades I saw all over the place.
So they are a figment of everyones imagination......... good to know.

There's a review on Amazon that claims the HB/Stars/Bats issues will be included. Can't know for certain, but it's written with a certainty that's inspiring optimism in me.

Right, but one can assume Marvel/DC split the revenue based on copyright. There's also a nice "MARVEL" Logo on the front cover next to DC's. I can't see one volume of the Starman Omnibus getting a Dark Horse Logo on it, or having DC sharing revenues on what would amount to a minor part of the collection. I suspect they would collect the mini separately and co-publish with Dark Horse.
