ok i have 2 Icicles in play my opponat has a kid devil in play i use copcicles with one icicle and put 2 barrer tokens on kid devil then use the other icicle to put 1 barrer down dose kid devil still take a action token or is he safe because its 2 figs putting up the barrer? i think he gets it my opponat dont which is right??? thank you
Does Kid Devil have 1 action token upon the first Icicle putting up copcicles?
Because if yes, then he gets the action token from the first one. (giving him 2 action tokens). Which means the second one does not give action tokens.
If he had 0 action tokens on the first copcicles, I'd say he gets one action token from the first copcicles which puts him at having 1 action token.
And then the second application of copcicles gives him a second one (as it functions with 0 or 1 action tokens).
*edit* oh wait.. I see what your asking if you put a total of 3 barriers out from 2 different icicles.. I would say no in that case, as the wording I believe is supposed to be specific to THAT icicle. Not anything on the board named icicle that can put down barriers.. I could be wrong though..
Though using that tactic I'm not certain why you'd only put the 3 barrier tokens down anyway.. 3 barrier tokens doesn't box someone in (4 does) but a standard 1 square piece has 8 adjacent spots anyway allowing both to place down 3 piece barriers for two action tokens...

Icicle can use Barrier. When three or more barrier terrain markers placed by Icicle using Barrier are adjacent to a target opposing character with zero or one action token, given that target an action token.
The token would only be placed if the 3 Barrier tokens are placed with the same action (i.e., the same Icicle). Sounds like your opponent was right.

Oddly enough.. I copied and pasted the text and was ready to cut and paste when I realized his question was something different than I had initially read..

Related Icicle point (since the OP seems to be new to using him)...
. . . .
. 1 B .
. B B .
. B 2 .
. . . .
If one Icicle throws his Barrier up next the two opponents (1 and 2) as shown above, neither one will be given a token as neither one is adjacent to three Barrier markers.

Wow.. There's something I had no idea about adjacency and barrier..

Yeah I realized that, but for whatever reason never realized that that diagonal barrier wouldn't be considered adjacent..
It's quite simple, really.

. 1 B .
. B 2 .

1 and 2 are both characters. The Barrier means they are not adjacent. Replace one of them with a Barrier...still not adjacent.

Yup.. just something that never occured to me..

i used 3 and still got beat
it was hard to get pushing when his team had lots of willpower and i had no outwit
i do thank every one for there help in clearing this up for me i really hate i was wrong not ezy to admit
The 1's are put up on action 1. The 2's are put up on the second (Compel) action. Does O get a token?
I would say yes.
I'm basing this on the fact that existing things CAN be imbued with new effects after use. (I have Construct on my Barrier guy. Barrier is not showing. He uses the Force Field Generator to put up a Barrier. His dial somehow is turned and now shows Barrier. At this point, the Barrier from the FFG has the properties of the Construct feat.)
