Nah, DC doesn't need that. What DC (and Marvel) need are writers that are a lot less "Look how dark and edgy I can be!" and a lot more interested in some good solid story telling.
Seriously; the way both universes are written, humans should be declared an endangered species. How about a break from the "Bloodbath at the House of Death" stories folks. Every third character in both universes is a sociopathic lunatic, every second person is a red shirt and every first person is a character destined to have a mental breakdown that will turn him/her into a sociopathic lunatic.
Do you think maybe we could get some stories where you have a reasonable expectation that someone somewhere might be allowed to reach the grand old age of thirty? The only characters older then that are characters that haven't had a chance to be written by the current crop of closet psychopaths that are guiding the direction of Marvel and DC.

The easiest comparison for flow is to think of something you're really great at, and being so caught up in it, you lose awareness of your self and start operating at peak efficiency. Like, maybe you're an adept skiier and going down a particularly tough slope, and you get into this headspace where everything drifts away and you become totally focused on the task. if Deathstroke could apply that to fighting, or some other ability, at will, that'd be a pretty awesome ability.

Heh, yeah, that sounds kinda neat, but ultimately it would drive anyone who has it completely insane. Aside from not being able to sleep, and the full time job of making sure you manage each breath and heartbeat, there's also another function we tend to take for granted, and that's how our brain directs attention. Without that, every piece of sensory information would have to be dealt with, every sound and every object. Almost like a savant.
