He's pretty simple, quick, theme accurate enough, decent keywords and would hopefully have a very cool sculpt. We never got one but atleast we got Constrictor.
He's made to fight Iron Man from Xplosion.

E Whiplash would have leap climb, as he originally only had the one lash and he used to turn it into a giant pogo stick like affair.

You are a genius. I thought the exact same thing. The main issue I had was Whiplash not having Flurry.

I didn't want to go to special powers because then I would have had to give him the duo attack ability without the minus 1 and then added Toughness with Energy Shield/Deflection and all that other stuff...so I just said forget it and decided on the Flurry. I figured while LOOKING at the whole dial at once you'll think "oh look, no leap/climb"....while playing you'll only be thinking "I get to use both whips, sweet."

Probably too cheap to be a double Incap fig, esp. with Perplex. Add 10-20 points or shave a click of life. Remember, long runs of powers are massively expensive (see how overcosted early clix designed this way are compared to newer, more eclectic designs), and Incap particularly so.

He's in league with the likes of Deathbird, LE Wolverine and Matches Malone.
Wolverine is useful almost every click PLUS the TA.
Deathbird flies, has running shot and pretty much the same values and 4 damage when using RCE.
And Matches Malone is Outwit, CCE, good values, lots of Willpower and a good amount of clix WITH Batman Ally.

There was good stuff and bad stuff back then...Iron Man's ACTUAL Arch Rival was the 12 ranged beast Mandarin. Iron Man = terrible always, Mandarin = still actually of use after all this time.

You've gotta compare apples to apples. Deathbird has a much different powerset, as does Wolverine. BCF has never seemed to be nearly as pricey a power as Incapacitate.

Matches Malone is kinda close in design, but he gets significant cost savings (on his powers, at least) from the activation click, and only has the single target. Bat Ally also seems to be a relatively inexpensive TA.

Consider E Mr. Terrific, who sports a similar topdial Incap ability, range but less powers overall. Or Siamese, who lack the dual arrows and sport more empty slots. Both wield TA's, though I suspect they are aren't pricey.

For 9 more points you get Vet Terrific but some crazy power combos & a TA. JSA, Stealth, Outwit, PC and Willpower. He has 1 less click but he doesn't have to push for 2/3 of the dial. More than 9 points of bonus but only 9 points more.

Siamese is a 15 points less but quite similar with the TA.

I think 70 works well. It's a good number, not too much, not too little, the piece isn't dirty by any standard but also not too bad. He's one of those pieces you really want to work but always gets hit off that first good click.

For the V, which I might do later, I'd probably pump him up all the way to 90 and have him be a powerhouse that lacks a bit in defense and late attack values.

Oh and he'd still beat Iron Man. 17 Energy Shield? Who are we kidding, it'd need to be 15 for Iron Man to have a hope.

The HC formula doesn't price for power combos, but for the individual powers regardless of what else appears with them. It also seems to take into account the click that the power appears on, pricing top-dial powers at a premium compared to later on, but long runs of powers really add up, cost-wise.

I agree that this dial isn't unreasonable at 70 points. I just highly doubt the actual point formula would really price it that low. Around 75 is my suspicion.

1. This figure will own Explosion Iron Man. R, E, and V.

2. RurouniKJS has an excellent point; Incap is very very expensive. The dial for 70 points is probably too low.

Add a click of perplex on click 2 and make him 80 points, drop his defense by 1 for click 1.

Xplosion Iron Man to me the worst piece ever made. I only said that because his dial was old school. Mandarin was made to fight Iron Man and he would destroy him too. Every except perhaps Unique Black Bolt destroys Iron Man.

I never get why people worry about the cost...in reality...look at Vet Bullseye from IC...18 defense from a 10 range double target with 11 attack that can be shared and 1 damage but it has RCE for how many? 43 points!
There is still no way at 70 point this guy is gonna be anything CLOSE to dirty.

How long have you been playing??? really? I mean, I respect your right to an opinion different than my own but this seems like a comment I'd expect to hear from a new player at my venue.

I concur that 10AV 4 Damage Flurry is a bit much for 70 points, I main if the Perplex was on the second click it would be fine.
