Yeah sure. Just be aware that some managers might not let that fly though because you'd be pretty inclinded to not have picked up HB if you knew that -1 to attack would cause you to miss. But as this game is purely practice and the different positioning doesn't really effect what I'm going to do, I'll let it stand.
Secret Six 7a
"You endanger my love. I will not allow this."
1) Knockout to J6.
"Oh that hurt ever so much. Allow me to return the favor."
2) Ragdoll summersaults to M4. (Note: So glad the giant rules have changed. I hated having to stop 2 spaces away from them. Hope you weren't planning on me having to do that)
"Your American legend means nothing to the daughter of Vandal Savage."
3) Scandal to N6.

Any standard character occupying clear terrain that is hit by an attack is knocked back equal to the damage taken.
1) Knockout charges to I4, trying to hit Franky with a boulder. Needs a 7, but gets a 5 and the monster dodges her attack. Knockout takes a push click.
2) Deadshot to I5.
Free) Knockout grabs Frankenstein, outwitting his toughness.
3) Catman tries to stab Franky, but he breaks free and parries the attack. Needed an 8 but got a 4.
Well that didn't work so well. This could be bad.

Fair point though I figured a flub is a flub (and in truth I probably would've risked the extra -1 to Carry); hopefully it was balanced by me not redoing Franky's swing.

1. "A doll is a plaything and I'm a bit too old for games." Uncle Sam performs a Quake attack versus "Ragdoll" and Scandal Savage. 10 Attack. Scandal has 17 Defense. Ragdoll has 17 (15 + 2 CR). Sam needs a 7 to hit. Rolls a 5 + 4 = 9. 1 damage (2 - 1 Toughness) on Scandal, knocking her back to M4. 2 damage on Ragdoll knocking him to P9.
2. Human Bomb attempts to "touch attack" Scandal Savage. 9 attack versus 17 Defense. Rolls 2 + 3 = 5 for a miss.
3. Frankenstein swings the sword (BCF) at Knockout. 9 attack versus 17 Defense. Rolls a 1 + 3 = 4 continuing his waste of points for this game.

I was rereading the rules for Carry and noticed something - it only had to be that the character which ends up Carried is adjacent at the beginning of the action. It doesn't say the Carry has to start at the beginning of the action; so being Human Bomb was adjacent at the start of the action wouldn't he still be legal for being picked up later in the action?

Hmm.
I'm certain that one has never been able to pick up a character in the middle of movement. Let me see if I can find a better explanation of why.
Also, quaking multiple characters gives you only 1 SA. Same for pulsewaving or using double targets. However, flurry (and Green Arrow and Hitman's special powers that are essentially ranged flurry) is two seperate attacks and you can get an SA for each flurry.
