--> The primary objective of the Green Lanterns is to secure the prisoners safely. To that end, there are three ways the Slave Traders can succeed in “eliminating the evidence:”
1) The primary controls for the slave pen are in square M6, denoted by the Red Box. Captain Yor (and only the Captain) can activate it by standing in an adjacent square and spending a move action to do so. The Green Lanterns can stop it by either destroying the controls (doing 3 or more damage) or by moving adjacent and spending a move action to disable the controls.
2) The secondary controls Destroyed.
3) If all else fails, the Slavers can “Manually” eliminate the evidence by killing the slaves themselves. This is their last resort, because doing so not only implicates them in slaving, but also in murder. The only way to fully protect themselves from being caught is to kill the slaves when no Green Lantern has LOS to either the killer or the victim.
Once the GL’s have eliminated both control boxes, their player may take control of the slaves. They have the same stats as the Pepper Pots bystander pog.
For every slave still alive at the end of the game, the GLC gain +1 TXP.

Ok , here we go again my chicken winged friends. Hope all is well ACL, don't get too stressed out.
Turn 13a:
1) Gandra destroys the light object in square N-22 with a ranged combat attack.
2) Liandre move action to R-22.
Descriptive post
Gandra knew they were in trouble and she knew they needed to somehow drop the shielding from around the prisoners. She fired into the pile of debris blocking one exit from the storage area, leaving an extra exit from this death trap room open.
Liandre saw that the Lanterns had retreated and decided to make a break for the control room. She didn't know why the Captain had decided to put dump controls all over the damn ship, but she did know they needed to somehow get past these meddling space police.
Turn 12b:
1) Tomar Tu will move to U13.
The Green Lantern Corps:
1) [14+3+2ko] Tomar Tu (E Tomar Re) - 111 (3/7) U13 @

If I make you a trade offer, even if you think it's ridiculous, please at least respond with a kind and simple "Thanks but no thanks."
Sorry I'm so late to the party, but it looks like you guys are moving along well enough without me As an addendum, because it wasn't written in the rules (and if I missed where you guys worked this out already, sorry - it's late and I'm rushing a bit) -- If the captain is KO'ed (as he is), the ability to operate the controls falls to the next crewman in line. So whichever person is numbered highest (in this case, Liandre) is the new person able to activate the controls.
Once they are activated, kill one bystander as a free action each round until they are all dead or a GL disables or destroys the controls the villain activated.
Sorry for the delay. Lost track of things and forgot that it was my turn!
Can you use RCE to destroy objects and blocking terrain? We have been playing you can't here in Singapore. Don't think it will make much of a difference to this game so here goes.

I was tempted to try but just didn't want to start either of these two one click down. The first click is so good on both of them.
Turn 16b:
I clear, isn't much I can do anyway.
Good Match! Pretty much a stalemate, I couldn't really get at your stealth but had the mobility to keep away from you. If it hadn't been for that misunderstanding with the rules you probably would have been able to win this. My GLC team has always had problems with stealth. At least the hostages were saved!
Descriptive Post
Tomar called out, "They are hiding in the crates."
Katma, "Those Sunny Ronc Flakes boxes? So conveniently yellow crates. Sigh."
Tomar, "Yeah those. Fall back. The prisoners are safe in their shield. You cover the primary controls while I work on isolating the remaining crew."
He threw up a barrier around a heat source that he detected in the boxes. He slowly started to close it in.
Gandra saw the green walls closing in. She pulled out a box and pried it open. She dumped out the contents and kicked out the bottom. Holding the box she ran at the barrier. She tossed the yellow box into the barrier with an open end on either side of it, creating a tunnel through it. She dove through it as Tomar realised what was happening.
He grumbled to himself, "These beings are going to be a real pain. Why couldn't they put this inventiveness to good use? Maybe a stint with the agricorps would turn them around?" He mussed after dropping the barrier and attempting to get a lock on the fleeing crewmember.
Katma was having no better luck. She fell back and kept her eye on the main control board. She kept up a protective barrier around herself and the room but hesitated doing more. Tomar would have a much better idea of how to handle the computer.

Yup, that was a good game, can you post how you scored points at some point? I know you get points for hits and KO's, also for safe prisoners.
I'm glad the GL's made it anyway, I am also glad I at least gave you a challenge. Late

Every time that I did a click of damage to your figs I put points next to Tomar and Kat's names in []. 1 point per point of damage. For a KO you get 2 points, so when I KO a figure you will see something like this: [2+2+2ko] It means the figure had 2 points, did two points of damage, and got a KO from the points.
A little later I will be putting up the summary of the points and team points. It's fairly detailed, I recomend copying somones and just filling in the changes, it is what I do.

Reason: Forgot the Bonus for saving the slaves
"Nature has placed nothing so high, that valour cannot overcome it."

Even as the last standing crewmen rounded the corner of the hall and dashed through the door of the secondary control room, the bulkhead in front of them was torn down by great green claws. Pulled free, the wall was crumpled and discarded like so much tin foil, revealing Tomar Tu glaring at the pair.
“You are under arrest, you pieces of filth,” he scowled. The two females looked like they were considering making use of the vibroblades in their hands, but before their minds were made up they were lifted from the ground and enfolded in an emerald holding cell from behind.
“I have them, Tomar,” Katma said, breathing a little heavily. “Find their captives.” She was favoring her left side after having taken a bad shot from the Captain early in the fight, but seemed to be holding up well enough. For his part, Tomar had been too focused on the people he was trying to save to notice how wounded and exhausted he was becoming.
“Hold them tight - we will want to question them,” he said, taking off. Soaring through the hallways of the massive freighter, he followed the map his ring was feeding him until he came to the cargo bay. It was full of heavy crates, each large enough to fit a small fighter craft and lined with thick durasteel. When he scanned for life-forms, Tomar recognized the telltale electrical interference of a scrambler array - a device designed to mimic typical electronic or mechanical ‘noise’ in such a way as to confuse and confound scanners looking for living creatures inside their containers.
He pulled one huge, heavy wall off of a crate with a grunt, and as it fell with a dull boom to the ground it kicked up dust all around. The inside of the crate was dark, and he raised his fist to shine a light inside. Sure enough, over a dozen pairs of eyes looked back at him, huddling in terror in the back corner of the box. His nose was assailed with the smell of beings forced to live in a box like tightly-packed fish with no refresher or lavatory, nor any hygienic conveniences at all for who knows how long. It was foul, but he didn’t let his ring protect his senses from the assault. These poor people had lived in this - his sympathy demanded that he understand at least this small fraction of what their suffering had been like.
“My name is Tomar Tu,” he said softly, smiling gently and trying to project an air of calm. “I am a Green Lantern. Your captors are in my custody, and you are all free. My partner and I will take you home--“
“No!” a woman wailed in the back. “Not there! Please-- do not force us back there!”
He stepped into the box, feeling his feet squishing in the offal that had accumulated on the ground. “It’s okay,” he said, putting his hands out in a welcoming gesture. “I won’t let you be hurt. You’re safe now.”
“Not if you take us back there,” a man said. His eyes were cold and sunken, his face draped in a scraggly beard and hidden partly beneath an overgrown, greasy mop of hair. “We were sold to these yzastarns by our own people. The Butcher King and his Gestapo - they sold us all off as slaves to these men as payment for their alliance. If you bring us back he will only do it again, or kill us outright.”
“I need you to tell me,” Tomar said, his stomach turning as he frowned. “Where is it that you came from? Who did this?”
“The Monarchy of Talis did this,” he spat. “We dared to fight against them for our freedom and failed. We were betrayed and abandoned by your Guardians, Green Lantern,. This is our fate, and you are the reason!”
_______________________________________
“What are we going to do about this?” Katma asked. “We obviously can’t send them back to Talis, and we don’t know how many more of these ships were sent out. There could be thousands of people in the same situation that we may never find.”
“We’ll bring these people to somewhere they’ll be safe,” Tomar said. “Somewhere that will take them in and has a system in place to care for extraplanetary refugees. Then we will take what we’ve learned to the Guardians and make them do something about it.”
“You think they will?”
“I think they will have to!” he clenched his fists. “They refused to act on behalf of the Revolutionaries of Talis because the Monarchy had not committed any crimes that fell under our carefully selected, politically safe jurisdiction. But now-- now they are implicated in selling slaves to a galactic criminal organization. This changes everything, and should free us to act on their behalf both against the Monarchy and against whoever is running this slave ring.”
“The Captain said something about the Black Circle before,” Katma suggested. “Does that name mean anything to you?”
“No. It doesn’t. Which could mean that it’s too new to have a significant reputation--“
“But you don’t think so,” she finished for him.
“No, I think they’re the more dangerous option - an organization that has remained carefully off the radar for who can say how long. The fact that they would take a more open action here and now means that either they are now large, powerful, and embedded enough that they do not fear any challenges to their organization, or more amazingly that they are specifically acting here to draw out Green Lanterns. Hard to imagine they wouldn’t assume getting involved with Talis would risk a run-in with one of us…”
“It could be both,” she said. “We should look into anybody with a grudge against the Corps that could be connected to an organization like this.”
“That’s the trouble; we don’t know enough about the Black Circle to make a list of suspects with any certainty. It would just be guesses.”
“Sometimes the best leads start as guesses and hunches,” she smiled. “We start with the Guardians, then move from there. One step at a time.”
“Agreed. Let’s bring these poor people to safety, then return to Oa. There is much to do, and innocent lives could still be in the balance.”
