Hello. I'm a newbie. My friend and I have been playing HeroClix for the last 5 years, but he has moved to Las Vegas (lucky). We discovered your site and are interested in playing HeroClix online. But, we have some questions. We've followed a few of the games that have been played and like the mapping system that is used. But, we are unable to utilize HCUTILS / Ianparameter maps. It doesn't respond to anything that we attempt to click. How do you bring up a map that you can actually use? Sorry for asking such a basic question, but we were all newbs at one point weren't we?

kzcmzd: Are you using Internet Explorer? It seems to have some difficulties with the current version of HCUtils. Also, be sure you have Javascript turned on; the site runs on javascript, so having it turned off... well, makes it not work.

I'm moving into a new house right now, but once I get some free time, I'm going to be redesigning the starting page so that it's a) easier to use and b) doesn't break when you use Internet Explorer instead of Firefox or Chrome. If you have any specific questions/problems, let me know and I'll see what I can do to address them.

Thank you for noticing my pathetic cry for help PEERS. As a matter of fact I do use Internet Explorer. I will install the newest version of JAVA and see how that works. Good luck moving. Give me a call if you need to borrow my pickup truck.

Ok. So I've peeked into a couple of online games and when I click on the map link within their chat I find that i can move tokens around. But I can't get hcutils to open up maps for me or start a new game. Kinda frustrating. I guess we'll just sponge off of other people's games for the maps. too bad. this really does look like a cool way to play heroclix.

There should be a better front-end set up by next weekend.

I had this same problem. I downloaded Firefox. Works now.

I do apologize; Moving took a lot more time than I expected. Will be trying to get an IE-friendly frontend up this weekend.
