Ares: I don't know what to do.
Nick: Well...I've long since learned not to tell the immortals what to do...so I don't have an answer for you.
Ares, wondering what his boy has been up to, follows him and Daisy Johnson to the Secret Warrior's current base, proving that Daisy Johnson is a terribly awful spy. Ares talks to Nick Fury about how unsure he is about being a parent and how he wants his son to see the world differently than he did. He permits Alex to stay in the SW and promises not to turn them in to Norman.
Back at Avengers tower, the DA have dinner while discussing the merits of wisecracking heroes. The Sentry comes home to find his wife has shot him in the face. It's somewhat awkward.
This was a good premise (Ares finding out what his boy has been up to) that wasn't executed as well as I would have liked. I kind of expected it to last more than one issue. Still, it was well done. I'm glad the series has gotten back on track since Utopia and i'm really looking forward to where it's going.

"I must remember that I am not betraying my principles. I am admitting my mistake."
The Chinese army confront the Unspoken. He wastes them in an instant. The remainder of Chinese superheroes, the government agent with the cleavage, U.S. Agent and Quicksilver march against him. They find the Slave Engine and discern exactly what it is (finally): the weapon the Inhumans built should they go to war against man. As they fight the Unspoken's army, he uses the Slave Engine to release Xerogen mist against the fighters, turning U.S. Agent, Lady of Ten Suns, and Collective Man into Alpha Primitives.
Meanwhile, Ronin and the Young Avengers keep fighting Scarlet Witch/Loki. It's rougly equal until Clint kisses Loki, discerning that she is not, in face, the Scarlet Witch. With her gone, Stature is able to talk about the distress signal U.S. Agent sent and decides to assemble all of the Avengers: Mighty, Dark, New, and even the Counter Initiative.
The series is picking up again. I like that Stature is becoming an actual part of the team and that things are getting explained about the Unspoken and what he did. It's cool.
Captain America: Reborn #3 of 5
Story: 4/5

Things pick up. Cap tries to change his Billy Pilgrim-esque situation, Bucky gets captured by the T-Bolts and escapes with the Falcon (and Ant-Man's help), Sharon Carter turns herself in to H.A.M.M.E.R., and Sin and Crossbones find the robot Red Skull. I liked this; actiony and smart with good dialogue and artwork. Fun times.

Norman finds out about DD's new position as Hand leader and sends Bullseye (not Hawkeye) to much things up for him. They fight, then Bullseye blows up a building full of people. DD decides to use the Hand to do good things and kind of act as a police force I guess. Wasn't paying complete attention. And Lady Bullseye and the Kingpin are doing some stuff to manipulate DD. Not the best story. In fact, it didn't really seem to accomplish much. Glad I didn't buy it.
Surprisingly good here (I say surprisingly because Ellis's Ultimate Galactus was disappointing). Tony finds out that the Iron Man design has been leaked and he sets out to put a stop to it. In the process, he meets the Ghost (an armor with teleporting capabilities) and Justine Hammer, Justin's daughter with laser powers and his ally in this. If you guys read the Ultimate comics, you should check this out.
Working backwards here...
I hated teh Speedball made costume, and liked the original.
As for the diff between Wanda and the Vision and Hank and Jocasta, that's easy. Jocasta is in a robot body. Whereas Vison is/was a synthetic man. He had all the working parts of a man. Including the wife-tackle.
And as for Clint giving Loki some mouth loving, eh. It's Clint. He'd basically do anything to any one at any time and anywhere just so long as it appears to be female. This is why Hercules, in all his years of wearing a skirt, never shaved. He was afraid Clint might mistake him for a woman.
Where've you been the last several decades? It's Clint Barton.
Wife-tackle may just become my new favorite expression....
No time for full write-ups, but I wanted to mention how impressed I was with Invincible Iron Man. I think this newest issue was the best comic I got this week.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.

So impressed, you wanted to lick his armour clean for him?
