I'm not sure how we're handling it here in the leagues, but the keywording of the V Persuader makes him a separate figure (the 21st Century version), doesn't it? It's kinda silly how they did that, since there was never any indication at the release of Legacy that he was a different character.

But feat wise? I like Skullduggery a lot on him. It'd be a way for you to get an extra attack roll, since you've mentioned your challenge has been getting out-actioned. Shellhead would be another good one.

Yeah when i asked about him to draft the vet once before I was told tentaively same guy but yeah they did a few Legacy figs weird like giving Pg the Suicide Squad for the whole 3 seconds she was drafted to the team really rather silly

I'd been debating Skullduggery earlier and was going to ask if others have used it (on other figures) to any success.

Toyed with Damage Shield being he can use it for practically his entire dial; I mean it's not -much- but I guess it would be a little extra deterrent for non-DR'ed melee considering attacking him when he's already got Mystics.

Yeah, Fortitude does seem like a gimme though it's a tad pricey on an already expensive team (though, admittedly, I either end up right on the edge with points or have a ton of room like I did this game).

Question: does Time Trapper's Outwitting of Perplex so no one could penetrate Persuader's DR qualify for any sort of stat?

(Or, for that matter, turning off Outwit/Incap on the Manhunter so Persuader was free to act fully?)

First one sounds like a DFD. Second one may be too subjective. If the Manhunter had already outwitted Charge and Persuader would regain it with the Time Trapper's Outwit, that would be an AST. Otherwise, I'd say no. Note that I haven't reviewed the full game recap, however.

All of the feats suggested are good ideas for upgrades for Persuader.

A couple of other possibilities are Lucky Break (always useful) and Swingline (increases Persuader's movement--and, therefore, charge range--and also lets him ignore hindering).

It allowed Persuader to use Exploit Weakness for full damage which is why I wasn't sure if it was an AST or not.

If you outwitted the Manhunters' Outwit to do something as a boon to your pieces, that's 1 AST. Outwitted Perplex would be a DFD. I'll check again and update accordingly.

Ok, yeah, no ASTs there. The idea is, it's possible that if he had Outwit available, he might've done something different. So it's just 1 DFD you misssed.

Okie. Didn't know if Outwitting so that Persuader could use his Exploit Weakness was AST worthy.

(And Perplex got Outwitted twice, I think though I need to double check that.)

It's the order of events.

Were it:

Manhunter outwits Exploit Weakness.

Trapper outwits outwit on Manhunter.

Persuader uses Exploit

That's an AST.

In all the cases that I saw, it was a pre-emptive outwit of outwit. Of course, it's entirely possible that the ONLY logical thing for him to outwit would have been Exploit, nonetheless, it has to happen in the above order.

Hmm...actually he did say that was the only logical thing for him to Outwit (on the turn he forgot and I asked if he'd like to retroactively apply it) as he couldn't Outwit Defense powers but I'm not going to pester on this.
