SHIELD in a 100 pt game

Is it possible to use the SHIELD ability in a 100 pt game? Since it costs an action, but it's used with an attack which would take up the only action of the turn?

Tell me what you think is worse?
The Don yellin out "This is my turf!"
Or the fact you don't know what to do
