With the Wizkids site still under re-design, I'm a little confused. I've seen some references to prize support, but is there any kind of Organized Play schedule? If so, what is it?

as I understand things, there is a suggested schedule in the Organized Play prize packs.
It is up to the venue to decide whether or not to follow the schedule's suggestions though.

There was a prize kit stores could order from their distributor that had a recommended set of guidelines of how it should be used.

So we have no idea what that is until the stores get it on the 18th? That's going to suck for someone who can't make it to the store until the date of the first tournament.

I have a question regarding this as well. I actually just got back into Heroclix after a 4 year layoff (opening a gaming store means I get to play again!) and was wondering how Neca/WK is planning to do Organized Play. I run many other TCG events and all have some form of "high-level" tournaments (Worlds, Nats, etc.), not just store-level events. Does anyone know if there will be any of the aformentioned events? Or is everything store-level? Thanks in advance.

So far its just in stores but it says that they are looking into further things, which could just mean more local stuff but it could also mean they are planning larger scale events. I'm just hoping they honor the last Champ's grand prize before they start giving out new ones.
