Can Destroyer carry a pog, getting an action token....then...

Deal the pog one damage, and heal himself, AND remove the token he would have gotten for the move?

OR... does he not get the token for the original move until AFTER that SP could be used?

I suspect the latter, but wanted to check.

It helps to have the actual power wording.

Here it is:

"LIFE-FORCE POSESSION: Once during your turn, another friendly character adjacent to Destroyer can be given a power action. If you do, deal that character 1 unavoidable damage, and heal Destroyer of 1 damage and remove 1 action token from Destroyer."

You have an interesting question.

First of all, DESTROYER is not the one performing the action. He has the power, but the adjacent character performs the action. I think your specific question falls under NAAT, though. You carried the character and placed him adjacent. But since he was carried that turn, he can't be given a non-free action (the required power action) this turn.

You'd need to wait a turn to use the SP that way.

One step at a time. In most cases in this game you cannot start another action until you have resolved the previous one.

-Destroyer moves carrying a POG; Destroyer receives an action token.
-Using Destroyer's SP requires the 'donor' to take a power action. But since the POG was just carried it cannot be given non-freebies.

So 'NO', you could not immediately use Destroyer's SP after carrying the 'donor'. If Destroyer were moving up to the POG however then after his move he could sack the POG on the same turn.
