Also I recommend making some markers to indicate which value has been perplexed.
I might just go ahead and do this anyways. This is a really good idea, especially since I can never keep track of who's values are changed and how. Especially against certain people who I'm sure fire off modifiers left and right as fast as possible with the express purpose of baffling me into not calling them on some bogus ones.
I think I'm gonna put all those Actionclix tokettes to good use.
Wording on Invincible plus toughness where the rule layers can't say it means the figure can't be hurt by anyone unless its outwitted or penetrating damage is used might be somewhat difficult which might be why they did it this way.
I do agree that if it could be worded right the improved Invincible would be much better plus I also agree with the ability to see through stealth if your adjacent to it.
Powers using printed range rather then auto 10 would be interesting but overall I don't think I'd like it too much although if it was done with TK too it'd make Xplosion Phoenix my number 1 TKer since she'd be able to TK 12 squares for only 85 points.
I think this could be an clear cut and easy fix to invincible
Invincible: This character can use toughness. Any damage dealt to this character greater than 1 is reduced to 1 unavoidable damage.
i don't think there's any way to rules lawyer around that but who knows.
Also, I love how pointless threads like these get as EVERYONE has seperate and totally different ideas.
I don't think they are pointless at all. Everyone may have different ideas, but we can at least see what everyone is thinking and we get more insight on what they enjoy about the game.
I always walk away from these threads with at least one change in my perspective of what things I can do to make the game more fun.
And on the rare occasion, there maybe someone posting who has the same idea. Having someone who agrees is hardly ever bad (it could be but not for the most part).

The only insight I get is that some people want to play make-believe, some people want to play a strategy game, and never the twain shall meet.
There was a Robocop III you know (so don't be racist)
Get rid of Generic Keywords (If some one wants to play a Generic theme let them....why do they need bonuses to do so?)
I think they should just get different bonuses, that are not as good as the non-generic keywords.
I used to think that it would just be best if they got rid of them altogether.
But the other day, I came to the realiziation that perhaps in some instances they have their place in the game.
I look at this game from a comic accuracy standpoint. So non-generic keywords are the tie that binds the teams I try to build, since I build them directly from the comics I read.
Here's an instance where the teen keyword makes, sense from a comic-accuracu standpoint: Young Avengers/Runaways.
Two teams that combined in a story and do not share a team ability in clix. Using the Teen keyword binds them, and makes a thematically accurate team to run.

I figure if people want to play make believe, and pen and paper RPG would serve a better purpose. Heroclix can be used to simulate heroic battles, but within the parameters of a strategy game. So in a way it will always be a strategy game sundae with make-believe sprinkles and make-believe cherry on top.
People have all sorts of ideas of how to change the rules though, hopefully with the intent of making the game play smoother and easier to understand while still challenging from a strategical stand point.
During the first attack a ATK or DMG power may be used (cce, exploit, blades, etc..). Second attack is then carries out as before with the -1. Bucky should be able to hit as hard as Cap, Same with Bats and Bird. Devil Dinosaur has freaking teeth let him use blades moonboy is some weird blue guy, obviously not going to do as much damage (unless our big red dino friend only slightly maimes his target).

Agreed!

It also can be a validation of two things: one that something truly is wrong and two that people can agree that things need to change.

Again, I would like to point out that these types of threads are the reason that No Action After Taxi, Fliers Can't Carry Fliers, First Turn Immunity, the Rule of 3, and the change to HSS which cuts range in half when an attack is made- are now in this game. So please do not discount these threads, they can be and ignitor of change.

It's not so much that everyone has different ideas, it's that everyone agrees that the same things need fixing. How they are fixed are up for debate, but it is useful to hear everyone's ideas to help supplement your own.
Pretty much everyone is going to agree that smoke cloud is a lackluster power. Now, what to DO about it? Well, that's up for debate.
