Yeah but of course we just assumed that Black Hand was on New Earth when he dug up Bruce. Nekron coudl easily have sent him to Earth 2 since he couldnt get at this Bruce who is trapped between Life and Death by Darkseid's Omega beams
Except that the grave where Bruce was buried was dug up. Barry and Hal investigated the defiled grave.

So, with Bruce Wayne being trapped between life and death (not truly dead?) and the other heroes who have cheated death become Black Lanterns, could this be Nekron's Achilles heal? Perhaps the black rings won't control them completely. Nekron was aware of this so he sent Bruce back after taking the heroes, but perhaps he didn't anticipate that the heroes not having been taken as corpses they would have an ability to fight his control.
Except that the Bruce Wayne of Earth 2 hasn't been on New Earth.
Well, also recall Grant Morrison said that the new 52 universes were not the same ones as they were Pre-COIE.
Also, Earth-2 Batman did make an appearance in the JSA, tho as a ghost. He was working alongside other ghosts including a few from New Earth to save Jakeem.
But as you pointed out, Hal and Barry did investigate, meaning it was on the New Earth, unless they happened to be on E-2 all this time and didn't know it.
I don't think it matters if it is Earth 1 or Earth 2's Batman that got resurrected. It was just a "shell" with memories uploaded from the ring that got resurrected, not Bruce Wayne. Black Lanterns don't have souls. They're basically like robots programmed to kill. How many times have they mentioned in the various crossovers that the Black Lanterns ARE NOT the people they used to be?
Like I said in a previous post, look at Deadman. His body became a Black Lantern, but his actual soul didn't get corrupted (see Blackest Night: Batman). Bruce may be trapped between Life and Death, but the fact remains that he left his body behind. I think that's the whole point of Deadman appearing in Blackest Night: Batman... to show that Bruce's body may be dead, but his soul/essence still survives (in another body... in the past. Way to go, Morrison.)

Well, good luck to them taking the ring off. After Thanksgiving, my Black Latern ring wouldn't come off. I blame the stuffing...
Oh I know its a shell but they still need a body
I did miss the whole investigation thing though
