This targets the Defensive powers and I would like to ask a couple questions?
1. Which do you like the most and why?
2. Which one is the biggest feat eater?(Needs the most feats to live up to comic book potential)
3. Which is, in your own opinion the most playable?
4. What teams have you played them on or would like to play them on?
I've seen a lot of hate over the wording on the defensive powers over Ulik's wording. Its mostly whining, he actually has an advantage over the other 2 defensive wise because he has a built in fortitude for his defense. Honestly the goal of this thread is to have fun and talk about team builds for these particular figures.
I'm not going to answer your little numbered thing, but I will lay this out.
Ulik's defensive power is awesome. It does prevent Pulse Wave and Outwit from getting through. Should Psy Blast and EW cut him? Absolutely. If Chuck Xavier gets ticked off, Ulik's brain is going to be shut off. He is a monstrous rock troll, not a deity. Same with Wolverine's claws. He's getting cut.
Prime and Tony have a similar power, but they can still be pulsed and outwitted. What do they have that Ulik lacks? Other defensive powers and higher defenses/mobility.
People who are upset about Ulik need to do one of two things-base the psy blast piece and kill her at your convenience, or hit the EW figure for six before he gets to hit Ulik.
DEBATE SOLVED.

a defensive value i suppose show how hard it is to land a blow on you! ulik is a big noisy troll! why should he be hard to hit?? superboy prime is a arrogant showoff! he didn't run from ion or damn near the whole dc universe either! thats why he has the dial he does, he hits you hard and doesn't really try to evade attacks!
i don't know why everyone wants high defensive values for everyone?? not everyone is hard to hit! look at ppl like the atom, antman, and mr miracle! those ppl are hard to land a blow on, so they have super high DV. i wish everyone just got over the fact that DV's are low. if the game keeps increasing all the values, you lose the most important element of the game, and thats DICE ROLLS!!
i love figures like ulik! he's perfect for who he is! he runs in, yells and swings his fists! if he hits, it's hard and hurts real bad, simple and comic accurate! any figure can be taken out by psy blast or exploit! why does this take away from his playability?? it doesn't, and it shouldn't! learn how to position better and i think you'll like ppl like ulik, prime, and iron-man much more!
@antonio.clark.art is my instagram.take a look and tell me what you think....be blessed!!!

Or how hard it is to land a harmful blow on you. This is why most later giants get higher DVs...sure you might hit them, but they're so massive that the punch feels like getting hit with a tennis ball instead of a body tackle.
Remember, combat values in HeroClix aren't a one-to-one thing. A flier's 10 speed is "faster" than a boot character's 10 speed because the former gets to ignore terrain and characters for movement. Superman's 11 AV represents his raw power while Iron Fist's represents Kung Fu Skills From Merciless Training By Immortal Master Killers™.

When I first read the thread title, I thought you were talking about a 3-way fight between these figures, which Supes Prime would win hands down. But to get back on point, I'll be the first to bite and answer your questions the way you wanted...
1) Iron Man- He fits into more teams with his cheaper point cost and the varity of keywords.
2) Ulik I guess. Supes and Iron Man don't need feats. There effective at their point costs already.
3) Iron Man- Read my reasons for question #1.
4) Haven't played Ulik yet. Iron Man on Scientist and SHEILD theme teams. Supes on a Sinestro Corps theme team.
How come you didn't include Super Skrull: Illuminati in this? He's got a defencive power that works just like the other figures.
In the hands of a very skilled player, and on the right map, Superboy Prime is nearly invincible (no pun intended); he is one of the best tent poles in the game. The only thing that keeps him in check, is that super high point cost of 318. Even the 17 DV that some people complain about isn't a big deal if you have fortitude, because he never really gets bad even after he gets hit, and has that 17 DV nearly down the dial. He's ridiculous from beginning to end. I play him with Fortitude, Auto Regen, Alias, and Protected, and I honestly feel bad for my opponents most of the time.
Unless you're packing an army of stealthed outwitters (or multiple barrier figs), Superboy will be a pain in the rear to deal with no matter who you have to play against him. Play him with Lisa Drak, to TK him out, and it gets kind of criminal. Again, the only thing that sucks about him is that high cost which doesn't let you play him along with any other real themed muscle in Sinestro Corps (Sinestro, Chase Sinestro Bats, or Arkillo) and still have fortitude on him and keep theme, it gets to be too many points, because of that 318.

Mechanics wise, I prefer Ulik's wording just because it saves points on Fortitude, at least for the clix that the power is on. On Ulik, that's all of them. *(Shrug)* Even if they were worded the same, I'd likely still put Fort on SMP just because I want his later dial Invuln and "I'm a hero!!" special powers to stick around. As such, SMP's version is better for him since it's cheaper and I'd still want the Fortitude for the rest of my powers. If SMP had Invincible for his whole dial then maybe I'd reconsider.
Prime's gonna get to those 12 Attack Penatrating Flurry clicks and when that happens they're both as good as dead so the wording of Ulik's power means squat.

best and easiest way to take him down.
Outwit that flight and sit in hindering terrain/ put up smoke cloud around him so he can't go anywhere.
the if you have an extra outwiter take out Indom so he now pushes.

That's why he needs Lyssa Drak - TK solves the first problem nicely, and if he targets the 2nd outwitter first, problem solved
