Just like the title says. Anyone have any recommendations? I would like to try out something new.
I like just about anything I pick up from Alan Moore, however I've mostly read the mainstream work. My local store has some of his other work, so I've been considering picking that up. It was right next to the section labeled "British" and I was intrigued. Thanks in advance.

The shop has several volumes of Judge Dredd and the Ballad of Halo Jones. I figured I would use those as jumping off points. However, they would have to order earlier volumes of Judge Dredd. If I can't immediately get volumes 1-10, is there a place to start that you would recommend?
I have heard of Miracle Man. I would definitely like to read it. When it comes to other Moore things, I haven't really been disappointed in anything so far. So the more the better. I was also curious about his novels.
As for preferences, I tend to read Powers, Walking Dead, Ex Machina, and Fables pretty regularly. I've also enjoyed 100 Bullets, Astro City, and Lucifer, although Sandman didn't really do it for me. I appreciate it, but it's just not my taste. I recently read Planetary for the first time, and I liked it, but Ellis isn't usually my favorite. I like the regular Marvel and DC stuff, and I tend to lean toward Marvel character or Cosmic events in general. I like a lot of dialogue and epic stories, but I like to experiment with other types of writing.
Thanks again guys for the help. Happy New Year.

From memory, you only need to read vol 1, it is probably best to read them in order, the later series have bigger story arcs, but I think you can read them in almost any order.
