I know if you buy at least 2 cases you get a prize support kit for i think $25, are their any other requirement to be able to buy the kit... like a registered judge or approved venue or something like that? Thx.
There is no such thing as a registered judge anymore, at least not at this time.
NECA doesn't know who all was a certified judge or where they were.
Same with the venues. There are no "approved venues" at this time. Just places that buy Heroclix and (hopefully) hold tournaments.
I would not bet any amount of money against some of the prize kits going directly to EBay, though.
Here's the solicitation.
Highlights to look for:
NOT FOR RESALE
subject to allotment
2 case purchase required to get 1
Maximum 3 per venue, with 12 case minimum to qualify for 3.

Did we discuss ad nauseam somewhere how it says "5 copies of 3 figures" though 3 figures, 4 cards, and 2 objects equals 9 weeks of tournament prizes.

Probably not, because there are seven different objects.
Though there is a lot of confusion between what they include and what they promise.
There are supposed to be ten weeks with four prizes each, since they promise the return of second place.
There are forty-one LEs in the kit.
No matter how hard I try I can't figure out how to parse them neatly into ten sets of four. The only way I see this working is with a mish-mash of different prizes each week... but I'll hold back the rant which follows until we know for sure what's up.
