Sorry Guys, I'm a newbie, and this sort of relates to the thread on Multiple Combat, but this one has me perplexed. The Marvel Heroclix Website States the following about Quasar: He is a true ranged-combat expert, possessing the ability to do 1 to 6 clicks of damage for all 8 health levels before he is K.O.’d.

Quasar's stats are as follows: 2 attacks, damage=1, ranged combat expert.

How can he do six clix of damage with ranged combat as the website says if you follow the rules for reducing damage to 1 when shooting at multiple targets?

If this is true, is the website incorrect, or am I missing another way to do 6 damage with Quasar

He can't do 6. The guy who wrote those little snippets is on crack. I'm not sure how it has survived this long, but he can only do 3 clicks of damage.

If i am not mistaken, which i might be, the damage would reduce to one, but after the attack hits then 2 clicks are added to the damage. Its all in the timing of things.

Sadly, his RCE cannot add damage to his multiple target ranged attacks. The Powers and Abilities card states that RCE adds damage to "single-target ranged attacks."

My guess is that the guy who wrote that blurb did not notice that little catch.

He can only do 1 damage to two different targets or 3 damage to one target using RCE. If he happens to roll a crit, then that's 4 damage. If that figure gets knocked back into a wall, that'd be 5 damage, but other than that, I can't think of how he could pull off 6 damage....unless (and if I remember correctly) falling off a building deals 2 clicks of damage, then that would be 6 damage.

If he shoots a figure and hits a critical and then knocks them OFF of elevated terrian it would do six. 3 (rce) 1 (crit) 2 (knockback off eleveated).

So basically, Quasar can't do 6 damage unless hell freezes over. Thanks anyways guys!

no not at all. When the game was originally designed, RCE did a die roll of damage, like Blades/claws/fangs does now. They never changed Quasar's description. There are also some other inconsistancies in the descriptions for IC figures, Claw and Cyclops I think, I can't remember.

Since Quasar has two bolts can he pick up two seperate objects and target two seperate figures? Can he use one object and an additional one attack at one damage?

He can actually do none of those. There can only be one object or target in a telekinetic attack, and so he will never be able to combine his double bolts with his TK ability.
