I've been looking on ebay for a while, and would like to get one, but most people just use the stock photo. (which looks okay) Others that post an actual picture almost always look horrible. Are they all like that? Particularly the face/head/hair. I don't often spend much on single figures, so if I'm going to drop that kind of cash I'd like to know it'll at least look okay.

If you have one, I'm not necessarily looking to buy it, but I'd appreciate if a few folks could post actual pictures so I can get a realistic idea what to expect. (Especially on KC)

I see MANY pictures and almost all of them look soo bad. He look like surprised and worry instead of angry. (I see pics on ebay)

Stock photos are the ones used in the figure gallery here that were taken by wizkids.

I've seen several and I have to say that I agree with you. I had a KC that had a really good paint job, but I've seen at least 2 others that had bad paint jobs with the S messed up on his chest or the face looked like he had some kind of disease.

you can always repaint them =)

I don't really mess with miniature painting as I can never get anything as durable as what's currently used.

That aside, I wouldn't repaint a $70-$100 dollar figure anyway. At that rarity though you'd expect some quality. ~sigh~

I agree,... hell I don't like modding/painting SR's U's. while there are a good amount of nice paint work, it is a shame that there are sooooo many poor paint jobs.

I think the Supermen have good paint jobs but the sculpts were lacking for his head. Superman's head is by far the worst part of the sculpt. It is also the part that is usually painted badly compared to the other parts of the figure.

Totally Agree! fig this expensive might merit a couple more bucks to repaint. The face is actually a good sculpt, that's why its hard for mass-production painting to bring it out.

Thought I'd post an update to this.

I bought an E2 Superman off eBay and it just came today. It looks good Very few defects at all, and the paint job is actually pretty good. Even the dial sticker is straight. So it seems there are a few winners in the batch as well.

I was going to get KC but with defense values getting so high lately, I decided to go with E2. My game for today was canceled though so he gets to sit on the shelf until next week.

Overall though I'm quite happy with him.
