When I first pulled the Mac Gargan Venom from HOT, I instantly thought it sucked. Since that version of Venom always seemed to be beefing up and growing monstrously to consume people. But then I look and see how beautifully sculpted it is. The proportions are done really well.

It seems like one of those figs that are just victim to crappy painting. Cause really...two holes for eyes? And the just awfully plain paint and spider symbol just make me snore.

I like the OPs attempt at the beefy, monstrous Mac Gargan Venom and he gets props. The HOT version is molded really well, just crappy paint. So it wins in being a "calmed down, sleek Gargan/Venom" but doesnt win in overall Venom-ness. IMHO.
