He seems to be a bit expensive for what he brings. The 10 range and 3 targets are nice. Mastermind and the Calculator TA can be used to keep him around, but it just seems to me that you can find all this on better figures.
Completely outclassed by Morgan Le Fay. Plus, why would you pay 100 points for only so-so clicks? (The other 3 are nigh-useless due to Battle Fury preventing range combat)
Pitiful. Bad enough Incap is overcosted and Mind control has been nerfed, but did they have to give him battle fury for half hid dial?
People have won "worst team" tournaments with this guy.
As for accuracy, Psycho is kindof incompetant in the comics, but he's also powerful. A higher attack, higher range, no battle fury, and a change in the way mind control works in this game and he'd be accurate.
While clix 406 suck, and 2-3 aren;t that great either, I still love running the runt. Alone his sculpt is excellent for captions. Mine is "LOOK! I have made mess!"
Calculator TA and the 10 range with 3:bolt: is why you're paying the flat 100 for the piece. All about personal preference if you want to spend that 100 on him or something else worth your time. I want one just for ####s and giggles.
This is easily the worst dial ever designed in the Heroclix game. The ONLY redeeming quality of this piece is the decent sculpt.
I'd give that honor to Rookie Puppet Master (dial, that is).
Dr. Psycho actually has two advantages: 1) Higher point cost (100) paired with Mastermind, and 2) Triple MC or Incap. Mental Shields would be the best investment for Dr. P, but more importantly, you can easily team him up with a cheaper Impervious character to shrug off damage onto (LE Cameron Chase, Armor Wars R Captain America, R Radioactive Man, R Swamp Thing, etc.). He benefits best from Radioactive Man, borrowing the Masters of Evil TA to keep pushing to double or triple MC. Origin LE Lois Lane can allow him to target Stealthed characters; a cheap Bat Ally (Alfred bystander) will keep him hidden in Stealth. Finally, with a low AV, he's easy heal via Support or Nanobots.
Wow....lots of hate for this guy. I can see myself paying the 100 points for him in a much LARGER point game. (500-900) His stats are horrible, but his abilities and powers mixed with his insane range and diverse TA make him an underestimated piece. Don't like his attack values? Stand him next to a batman enemy giving him a 12 attack! That batman enemy could also be his mastermind fodder, keeping him alive to mind control and incap from TEN SQUARES AWAY! Let him copy superman ally ta to mind control a group of sneaky stealths forcing them to walk out of the bushes and into the open range of fire for friendlies. What this overpriced figure has over everyother triple mindcontrolling piece is his range and the fact that he's a wildcard. Shadowking, ringmaster, purpleman,dr.destiny,Morgan, etc are some of the few handful of game pieces with the rare three bolts with this powerset. But even they can't compare to copying any team ability, and shooting away from ten squares......all for 100 points. When you look at it that way.....he doesn't seem that bad.
Also, on the topic of the battlefury. Mindcontrol states that the MINIMUM range is 4. Even with battle fury.....since he has the power wouldn't he follow the minimum range? If not why does he have the power? If you think about it...by the time all of his mastermind fodder is destroyed and he reaches those clicks...he will probably be based by an opponent...thus allowing him to mind control them anyway....

Minimum range for ranged combat. But he can't make ranged combat attacks with Battle Fury, so the only option available is smacking someone up close. And with half of his dial unable to use his best asset (10 range with three targets), there's no way I'd want to pay 100 points for him. With low movement and no way to follow and attack at the same time, this is basically 100 points for 3 clicks that will take mastermind fodder to keep alive, and then 3 clicks opponents can ignore and take on when they want.
