I was wondering, what happens if Clark Kent succeeds in getting Mjolnir, and later transforms into Superman? Will Superman now have the Mjolnir? Based on the feats ruling I have to think yes, but perhaps not...
If so, for fun I think I'll have to field 6 Clark Kents sometime just to make it happen.

Thanks,

I'd say yes, if Clark picked up Mjolnir and then transformed into Superman, Superman would then have Mjolnir.
I cannot see any reason why Mjolnir wouldn't transfer (again, considering the Feats precedent for AEs).

It's an interesting situation concerning all objects or other "lasting" effects (Outwits, etc.) which may potentially carry over between figures.
If Aunt May has Outwit and has countered Doc Ock's Flurry, when she AE's into Golden Oldie is his Flurry still countered?
These things are being examined.
The way I understand it if she loses outwit during the transformation, it's effects would be lost. Meaning if golden oldie doesn't have it, doc ock gets to flurry.
I think the real question is things like mjolnir and other peices perplexing the AE fig before the transformation.

I'd definitely rule against perplex carrying over.
Perplex goes away when the target figure gains or losses a click.
transforming into an AE involves doing that, so no more perplex.

This is a case of using a short-hand method of thinking of an effect and that method not necessarily fitting.
"This effect ends immediately if this character loses Perplex or is defeated, or when the target is damaged or healed."

What Harpua said. Healed or damaged. That only happens if the power action pushes the secret ID character and the hero/villain doesn't have willpower or indomitable.
I do not know what the eventual decision will be, but given the precedent established by the feat ruling, I would say that all ongoing effects will continue to be ongoing.
The transformation through the use of the AE mechanic will not, in itself, cause any ongoing affect targeting the AE character to cease functioning, nor will it cause any ongoing powers used by the AE character to stop working.
Now if I push Clark Kent to turn him into Superman, then Superman will take a click of damage upon the resolution of that action so that would stop any perplex effect, but that is because he took push damage, not because he became Superman.
Anyway, that's just my take. We'll have to see what they say.
