The remaining Titans face dire odds. The battle has turned solidly against them, and everywhere they turn in this raging inferno, there seems to be no escape. Nightwing notices Doctor Destiny confront Koriand'r directly, but in his weakened condition, there is little he can do for her but hope she can handle herself against his mental powers. His only hope in waiting and seeing if Raven can ease his pain enough for him to be an effective enough fighter to help out.

The Titans Turn 13B:

The fire burned at Starfire, and due to the influence of the Ruby, she did not protect herself while it lapped at her. Luckily, the minor burn snapped her out of her nightmarish daze, and she quickly realized her best hope for survival was to bolt as hard as she could out of there.

1) Starfire attempts to breakaway.

-PC that to........6. SUCCESS
-Starfire moves to L12.

The vast thrust she was able to generate kept her from being stopped by the tempting gazes of the nightmare man. By instinct, she was able to scoop up the still unconscious forms of her fallen comrades in the area as she bolts the vicinity. When she's gone as far as she can under the conditions, she stops, panting.

Meanwhile, Raven has a breakthrough and is able to get Nightwing back into fighting shape.

2) Raven uses Support on Nightwing.

-Attack roll is........CRITICAL HIT! (Oh sure now!)

I think we are about a week ahead of everyone, AND, I'm still trying to figure out how to write a retreat, since in 2 turns with all having 1 token, there is NO way I can get an attack off without you coming to me.

you could carry robin into the fray with starfire, and go flurrilicious on two-face.

i would have brought the fight to you, but I basically would have had no way to avoid joker getting one-shotted by starfire if i moved him anywhere.

sorry i was being pushy. i'm just on spring break right now and i'm bored.

i was thinking about doing some kind of writeup where the titans are all unconscious right outside arkham, and they are having vivid nightmares about being killed by the crazies, but really the crazies all just walk away while they are unconscious. i was gonna have someone say something about "why don't we just kill them?" and have joker say something along the lines of "lets just kill some other random people instead and let them live with the fact that they couldn't stop us".

but i'm not that great of a storyposter, so whatever you go with, i'll just piggyback off of that.

At this point, I think the story line can just have your guys escaping...for now. The bad guys sometimes get away, no real stretch there. The heroes would worry more about getting their friends out than the villains at the point they are at. Unless of course the villans go crazy and try and attack them.

Starfire: Should we go back to try and stop them?

Nightwing: At the way this building is coming down, if we don't worry about ourselves, we may not make it out even if we did stop them.
