The only Batman with an activation click! Matches isn't great, really, but I like him so much. He's always useful (not counting the activation click, if he doesn't have Outwit he has CCE and so can always crack Invuln) and has a fairly steady attack (9 goes down to 7, not bad especially considering most people ended on a 6 or worse). He also has a pretty high movement value after the activation click.

The bad: Low defense all around, effectively a 6-click dial for 70 points with no damage reducers, 6 range means he'll have to get in close, 1 target denies him the luxury of double incap, no leap/climb after the activation click.

I strongly advise playing Protected on him. He has plenty of Willpower and is otherwise fragile.

Nonetheless, Matches is my boy. Every time I use him, he never misses. Took out Ultimate Hulk by himself last time I played him. Bam!

Used to be a decent figure, but now stats are not really up to snuff. Powers are decent although a single target incap with 6 range and 8 attack isn't much for 70 pts.
+ the sculpt doesn't even resemble Matches.
Cool concept for a LE though.

We DID get a playable Batman in this set, this guy. He starts with one click of Undercover then morphs into a full on Batman. I would like a higher Defense value but what can one expect for 70 points.

I swear he was better than this. I haven't owned one in years, but I swear he had 10 attack and 17 defense. Not nearly as good as I remember him being, unfortunately. Very cool idea for an LE, though.
