E-2 Superman is ard to play in anything less than a 1,000 point team, and "you get what you pay for."
KC Superman is a lot like KC Flash...yes, he's great, but your opponent swarms him and puts his full effort into taking him out, and you never get the chance to use him to his full potential...Namor is better, simply because he is underestimated and KC Superman isn't.
How much can you take, and keep moving forward?
The Green Lantern Corps is DC's version of the US Marine Corps.

Well, that depends o the venue. I've always loved Defenders teams (my very first tournament was with a Defenders team... got stomped by OWAW Superman and then a GL/Invisible Girl tank)and I've played Namor enough that nobody underestimates him now.
I've never played the E-2, but I did have the KC (I sold it off back during the hiatus). I went 5-1 with him and he won me the Death of Supergirl event dial. To me he's easier to build a team around than E-2. It does require some luck with him, but I think that can be said of anything that you ever play. Out of the two, I'd probably go with KC and I'll eventually pick up another one (probably be my Gencon splurge this year).
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.
Welcome Charlie (Charles William Cook)! Born 7/14/2011!
Ace in th hole, eh... Boils down to playstyle... and also to point total. Cause while Kal-L may have his Leading the Attack bit going for him, he's also how many more points to play?
And while I have utmost respect for that piece... heck, if I had him, I'd be running him myself, what with no pushing dmg and whatnot... the minor drawbacks that he has also are why I'd be more inclined to use the KC'er. heaver hitting potential between the Kryptonian strength, and the charge-flurry... GRANTED you need to get CLOSE enough FOR that charge, as E2 has his full move charge. just boils down to preferred playstyle I suppose. E2's a little less of a finesse piece for a brick. never having to worry about the pushing damage... always the chance you'll end up on that 20 D early on, etc... KC requiring more of a support team to do business effectively, but by no means incapable if he has to do it all alone.
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.
Look KC CR wins hand down because I can field either a bunch Con Artists getting KC CR a 21D or 15 attack or more probably a 20D with 6 damage + the Two heavies for 8, 9, or 10 damage if he critically hits. The other figure I'd use is Fabian Cortez and hope I don't roll that six to often. Let's see how that E2 dial looks after being slammed 8 clicks and then get's hit again for another eight. That's right I get to have more team members because in or to field E2 Superman we've got to play 400 points so I could use a Vet Mandroid Armor, Con Artists, and Exp Destiny. Notice I'm being completely fair I've got no feats, no cheap Battlefield Conditions, and no cheap Special Objects. So while on paper E2 might have slight edge it's really no edge at all KC CR will have 162 points to spend on feats & support and E2 will have 83. Both are terrific but KC CR just does in one turn what it takes E2 to do in two turns and E2 can't hit the same foe twice in one round
