What if the B.P.R.D got their hands on some Lanterns?
I like to run the following B.P.R.D. team for 500 point Golden Age games:
136 points: Hellboy(Collector's Set) - Protected + Monster Hunter
065 points: Liz Sherman - Armor Piercing
062 points: Abe Sapien - C.Plan
110 points: Roger
077 points: Captain Ben Daimio - C.Plan
041 points: Rookie Lobster Johnson
006 points: Alfred Pennyworth - for the wild card use of the batman team ability.
497 points: Total.
BFC - Assembled, Deep Shadows, Resistance
I was wondering if it's worth while adding any of the Lantern Special Objects to make the team more effective?

Any thoughts?
Well, with the exception of the Black Lantern, they all cost 5 points, so you'd have to drop (the non-thematic, you cheeseball ) Alfred.
God is smarter than we are....
Visit Heroclixin'! Or check out my trade thread. Molly Hayes' KO list: HoT Ultron, HoT Thor, SI Iron Man, AV Wonder Man, SI Sentry, LE Diana Prince, R IC Ultron, Pretty Boy, CW Kang, IIM Thunderball, TW Catwoman, OP Red Hulk.
If you're going to wildcard-abuse the Alfred bystander, I'd add in the Security Guard bystander as well -- the boost to AV helps plug one of the other holes in the BPRD (not-great attack values for the ranged fighters). This gives you two bystanders to accept theme team PC tokens. And the Security Guard is thematic for the BPRD.
If you also bump Lobster to the E version, that puts you at 470... leaving you 30 points for feats. I'd keep Cont. Plan, Protected, and Armor Piercing, an even 30.
Hellboy 125
+ Protected 8
Liz Sherman 55
+ Armor Piercing 10
Abe Sapien 50
Roger 110
Captain Ben Daimio 65
+ Contingency Plan 12
E Lobster Johnson 53
Alfred Pennyworth bystander 6
Security Guard 6
500 points
Theme team: BPRD +6 to map choice, 3 theme team PCs
Personally, I wouldn't, because the effects of the Lanterns only affect any one character on the team for two, three clicks at the most. Liz is the most affected by the Orange Lantern, and she's got four clicks of Poison (but Liz is actually best on her mid-dial where she doesn't have Poison, she has Pulse Wave). I wouldn't spend the points on a Lantern that helps for only a one or two clicks.
If you want to play a lantern, you could take Protected off Hellboy, add the Orange Lantern for Liz, and then add Monster Hunter or Alias to Hellboy. Both thematic, in their own way... depends on what you think you are going to see.
