I read on here a few months ago in some thread about a multi card strategy the when used on Thor/Loki would give 2 or 3 damage to any opposing character that hits him up close. But I dont remember what they were.
I think Damage Shield and Armor Piercing was 2 of them but I'm not sure.

If you really want to be sadistic, add And Stay Down, Rip It Up, Shellhead and Shockwave to the mix.
You now have a character that:
Is stealthed when adjacent to blocking terrain;
Always has a light object when given an action;
Has a +2 DV (20 at best) when pushed;
Can only be targeted on a 5-6;
Makes critical hits on a 2d6 result of 11-12;
Deals 2 penetrating damage via Mystics/Arachnos (up to 3 when successfully attacked up close);
Deals 4 knockback to all adjacent opposing characters when using Quake (no damage is dealt from the attack, but characters can suffer knock back damage)
Have a nice day, and hope that you never have to face a feated Thor and Loki.

Shellhead wouldn't work for them. They can be assigned the feat because of the Invulnerability trait but they wouldn't get the +2 defense because they have the Indomitable symbol and the card shows the normal shield symbol.
I didn't notice if anyone else suggest this but also put armor piercing to make sure the damage shield damage goes through.
I wont have to face a feated up Thor/Loki. But I think I will run one. Our youngest player is having his birthday celebration on the day of our next tourney and he picked 1500 with no feat limit. I think Thor/Loki is going to kill his Foom all by himself.
Thor/Loki has the indom symbol so no shellhead, but the rest works.
Thanks to all of you. This is just pure nasty, and knowing that the only one who can shoot him from a range is HOT Cap since he can see through the Camoflage card. He gets hit first.

Just watch out for Outwit. They're not immune to just having their Shape Change power Outwitted and being wide open to get blasted, even with the 2 retaliation damage.
Foom is pretty beatable though. I'm not sure you have to go all out. Unless the kid is a jerk and you want to ruin his birthday!

You also better do it soon because when the new rules come out, you won't be able to Thunderbolt them anymore since it's switching to be keyword based...or at least that's the rumor.

I've also heard this rumor. Will be anxious to see if its true when I get my new starter this weekend. This is suppost to be our last tourney with the old rules. Gives the judge a week to read them and figure out any major changes, instead of jumping in blind and giving the wrong ruling.
One thing I do with Thor and Loki is to make sure to run a Valkyrie minion with him and an Indigo Lantern if you have one. Gharskygt works really well with him to perplexing his attack as high as a 14 while Thor and Loki use their own perplex to up their damage to as much as a 6. The Side Step feat works really well on them too letting them move up to 4 squares in between Duo Attacks. I use Heimdall with them alot to so that after I attack with them I can recall them to the backfield if things look like they may go south. Just a couple of suggestions that I have I play them on a pretty regular Basis and they always work out really well for me.
