I have a question about Luthor from BN and his special outwit power.
If he's on his Impervious click and steals someones Invulnerability, what exactly happens?

Nothing. Other than reduce damage dealt from non-penetrating sources (sigh... and not from pulse wave either) by 2 or to 0
This is why we always chant the mantra, "Quote the power"
Lex Luthor can use Outwit. If he counters a standard Speed, Attack, or Damage power on an adjacent character that he can't already use, he can use that standard power until the beginning of your next turn.
He cannot steal a Defence power. He can Outwit it, yes. But he cannot use it

Please quote the game effects in question. That makes things much easier.
Orange Greed: Lex Luthor can use outwit. If he couters a standard speed, attack, or damage power on an adjactent character that he can't already use, he can use that standard power until the beginning of your next turn.
Invulnerability is not a speed, attack, or damage power. He can counter Invulnerability normally, but that's as far as it goes.

just a quick question I'm almost sure I know the answer but I need to ask...
So if I have Lex Luthor OL adjacent to SI Doom #40 and I use my special power "Orange Greed" on Doom's special power "Powerless"
POWERLESS: Doom can use Outwit. When Doom uses Outwit, he can use it normally, or choose to counter all powers or all abilities of a target character 6 or fewer squares away.
Am I then able to counter All abilities on a target character?
k so if i counter someones Outwit do i then gain outwit and then be able to outwit another ability they have?
No - see below.

No matter where you go, there you are.

but he doesnt have an actual power of Outwit he has a special power granting him its "use" (yes i understand that) i just wanted to know if what i said was possible, the way i was thinking it might work was as if he gained the Black (power) on his dial and could then use it

No, because he can already use Outwit, so he can't get it from another character.

I disagree : he can pretty much attack any character using its own powers, be it Close Combat Expert, Hypersonic Speed or Blade/Claw/Fang, each time preventing his target from counter-attacking efficiently.
This guy can definitely wreak havok in a close-combat team.
