If I choose to use the Outsider team ability on a friendly transporter, say Valkyrie, does she get to use her natural attack value, i.e no -2 to it? I know the new rules say that a transporter attack is just hypersonic -2 attack value, but wouldn't using the Outsider team ability - on a friendly character - negate the -2?

short answer: yes. Outsiders works so that ANY change to a printed value will not affect the character.

Correction, any modification to a printed value will not affect the character. Replacement values can still happen.

Quick question, and it's probably a silly one, but if you "outsider-ed" a character with HSS and range, would the range still be halved when using it together with HSS ?

I guess yes, but well, you never know !

Halving is a replacement and is unaffected.
