 for all of you with complaints out there, who can't win with this piece, you should probably rethink your strategies. I rolled 3...countem 3 crit misses with odin in a 300pt game and still came out on top, this guy conquers, so long as you use his whole dial, he has the answer for just about every problem
Not a big fan of the dial. Partially because I don't like figures that cost this much due to the point total having to be really high to get a good variety of figures on the team. I also think the dial cost is just generally bloated. If I could think of a better way to make the dial better I would replace all the CCE with more outwit and boost the damage value by 1 on each of those clicks. Then perhaps trade one of the Super senses (the first one probably) with another click of Invulnerability.
Forum Team Building Contest #2 and #3 Winner, & runner up for #1 and #4.
Having gotten, and since played, this figure several times, he doesn't disappoint. I played him in a 2,000 point game (Asgardian theme team) and even though he took some lumps, he survived the game easily (I won). I also played him on a 600 point team. I used 'Hold The Line', 'Shellhead' & 'And Stay Down' on him, and teamed him up with a few Valkyries and Asgardian Warriors. He ruled. Literally. Never took a click of Damage, wiped out my opponent. Odin is a great figure. I look forward to playing him again.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
W/O move and attack, it's easy for him to get stranded
I played against this guy in a 1000 point game Asgardian keywords only. One team Gods and the other Demons, Trolls, and Giants. My opponent unwisely put Odin where Loki in stealth could see him and hit him for 4 Psychic blast. It was all down hill once he got on his super senses and my 300 point Frost Giant came in and hit him for an oracled damage of 6. Fire Demon and Rock Troll charged in and batted Clean up to kill Odin in 1 turn.
Odin is good but he really has a glass jaw. he would be much more worth the points if he were able to move and attack
Err, I'm not sure that I'd refer to any figure with only one click of KO as having a "glass jaw," myself, especially if it's still standing after surviving a 6 damage hit.
I was playing 300pt games online with Odin as my only piece so far hes 3-0 He has yet to take a single click of damage although some of this can be attributed to making impervious roles. He has really done well in my opinion.
