View Poll Results: Should Regeneration heal a character of a minimum of 1 click of life?
All Characters roll a d6 before using Leap/Climb, Perplex, Outwit, Force Blast, Smoke Cloud, Poison, Steal Energy, Combat Reflexes, Energy Shield/Deflection, Barrier, Mastermind, Willpower, Enhancement, or Super Strength. On a result of 1, the Character may not use affects or gain benefits provided by that power. An action token is then assigned and pushing damage applied (if applicable).
This may help since all these powers are WAY unbalanced, right?
In my opinion Regeneration should automatically heal 1 click. I do not see
this as any more unbalancing at the end of a game than a character having
toughness vs one who doesn't and can do only 1 dmg. I do think that
Regen as a free action is too powerful. Neither my opinion, nor the rule, are
likely to ever change.
Hmm, I'm starting to wonder if there is any correlation between those who want Regen to be more effective and those who are fans of Wolverine.
i am not a big wolverine fan but i never use him because his regen is to risky if it was a little more stable then the like 200 different versions might actually get played by some one other then the x-man fan who gets clobbered every week at our venue
In our friendly games we changed the rules for Regen a long time ago. For us it is a free action, and heals you one point. So, every round that you have it on your dial you gain one point and one point only. This seemed the most comic accurate to us as well as balancing out the characters. Wolverine doesn't instantly heal completely in ten seconds, he heals slowly as he continues to fight. It is also accurate in regards that most of the "regeners" can't heal completely while fighting anyway, thus you can't regen to a full dial again.
Just how we play it.
Still wishing for the return of the Wildstorm Universe
