Don't ever rely on Pawns getting promoted, it has yet to work out for me. It also sucks that White Knight, White Pawn and Pawn 502 are Spys instead for keyword.
Yeah. I played underpoints on this one. I only had the chance to play 2 matches. The first one was a slaughter, the second one I did better. Overall, you have to play it like chess game. Choosing which pieces you may have to sacrifice. Also, Waller's Leadership really comes in handly when using power actions for Perplex. I had to drop after that. Next week I'll give this a shot;
Checkmate being played like chess.....seems accurate to me...
That is what I have felt from playing these guys. You almost have to sacrifice the Pawns to get your main guns into the action.
A checkmate GL tank might be the key. It would allow you to get the Stealth pieces to a certain blocking point, all in one fell swoop. That way GL and the secondary attackers have something to fall back to.
