So I plan on running an Illuminati 600 point team for this weeks game. Here's what I've got so far-
CRBF100 Antimatter Universe
SI033 Dr. Strange 149pts
-SIF006 Alias 3pts
SI021 Iron Man 188pts
-AWF007 Armor Piercing 10pts
SI045 Namor 150pts
Now my question is, should I run this team with SI101 Mr. Fantastic, or SI111 Reed Richards? They are both 100 pts and round everything out to an even 600.
That's what I was leaning towards. Seems to be more useful than outwitting a whole dial of powers. What about feat selection/characters? Any advice on that? Should armor piercing be moved to someone else?

You can't always get water terrain on a map, but when you can, Submerged makes Namor extremely effective.
Even though Iron Man is a nice fig (especially with the new Recharge feat!) I would rather free up enough points to assign Brilliant Tactician to Mr Fantastic. With the new Replace-then-Modify mechanic, Dr Strange's Defend can be stacked with Mr F's uber-Perplex for a 20DV on adjacent figs.
I would go with:

- Submerged 5pts
SI033 Dr. Strange 149pts
MU031 Professor X 131pts
- Mental Shields 15pts
- Compel 15pts
SI101 Mr Fantastic 100pts
- Brilliant Tactician 20pts
= 585 pts (55pts in Feats)
You can only add 5pts more in Feats to stay within the 10% cap. You can add Lucky Break (5), Endurance (5), Inside Information (4), Not So Special (3), whatever floats your boat. I would also add a few Bystander Tokens, as well, for use with the Theme Team PC tokens.

Thank you for the advice! I sadly do not have the MU031 Professor X though, but where do I get this recharge feat?
There were (4) new feats added for The Brave and the Bold in the newest Player's Guide. They are all print-and-play, so I just take a copy of the Player's Guide with me to the event and do not even bothering bringing Feat cards!

Recharge allows Iron Man to push off his first click and, as long as opposing figs take 2 or more damage, he can be healed back to his first click. The Feat states "after actions resolve" and pushing damage is part of the action resolution.
All 4 of these feats are very cool, and will be often appearing on my Golden Age teams !!
If you ever play a game without feats (or Modern Age tourneys), Reed is a pretty good candidate over Mr. Fantastic IMO. The abiliaty to outwit all standard/named powers will be very helpful with Fortitude out of the picture.
I try to never play Mr. Fantastic without Brilliant Tactician.
You can trade down the SI Iron Man for the Vet Armor Wars Iron Man. He is still very good. Or you could trade Dr. Strange for Prof. X + Mental Shields.
