This issue could of been epic. When they were looking at the multiple futures that scene could of been GREAT! But it's done half-### and sloppy. I thought Marvel only hired the best of the best artist. I dunno...

I feel that Bendis wrote Seige down into the dirt and now I feel that the Avengers will be getting the same treatment. There are some really cool things that could be done and his writing and the art are just taking away from it.

JRJr is a great storyteller and great on the action stuff...even minimal action like walking across a newsroom. But so much of Bendis' writing is people just standing around talking at each other. That lends itself to artists who are better at pretty pinup work.

Yeah, I'm not a big Bendis fan. I never know if I'm going to be impressed by him (and I am, occasionally) or bored silly by his work (and I am, less than occasionally).
