I think he is kinda disgusting.

I also think he is a much more interesting and believable character now.

He should either be FrankenCastle, or he should be dead. Bringing the Punisher back to the 616 Marvel Universe would be a mistake, IMO. Unless he's going to be hunted down like any other villain by the heroes of that universe.

They did that "hunt down the Punisher" back in the early 90's.

Actully Frankencastle is a good arc. Better then the whole 90's angel thing he had going on.

I like Frank going after thugs, but I have that in the Punisher Max books, the 616 Frank just CAN'T be that brutal. He just never fit in the Marvel Universe. He's not an Anti-Hero he's a stright villian. The fact that the heros don't go after him is a stupid plot device. I like the idea that he's "dead" and doing something different then usual.

But I still have Punisher killing thugs at the same time. My thoughts on Frankencastle might be different if we didn't have Punisher Max.

Well, I believe your wait is almost over as solicitaions for upcoming issues has him trying to find a fix & solits for some of the Shadowland books show a regular Punisher in them. So here's hoping it's almost over.

And speaking of solits, to the person who wondered why people are reading/buying books or storylines they hate, most people have to commit to buying issues months in advance when they make their Previews/Diamond orders based on sometimes shady storyline info in the catalogs and are stuck with issues they hate (I'm looking at you over there Mr. copy of Fallen Sun : Sentry).
