I know you love your Teen Titans. While I have never shined to them in the same way, I have a healthy respect for the concept of sidekicks and for former sidekicks. Should this actually screw up Donna's history in the long run like the Perez reboot did, my opinion of this revamp will quickly sour.

I remain optimistic, though, at this point.

I could deal with the costume if she lost the jacket. But the new Origins? COME ON DC--you were doing good there for a while, with putting your ducks in a row and getting things back on track. Now we just have 1 more narrow road to navigate to get to a nice streamlined continuity. Just wonderful

I like the new look. I'm sure it won't last, but it's a nice, modern costume that'd go well if they were trying to do superspy/Captain America type stuff with her.

I'm giving it one issue. #601 better wow because the idea, costume, and reasons are pretty awful.

JMS complains that WW is stuck in the past. That is called Greek history. It always keeps her "in the past". Most of her stories revolve around Greek characters.

My problem with his so-called update is how dated it feels. "Urban" and "Edgy" are terms from the 90's. He says Supes & Bats have gone through changes but no WW? Huh?

The outfit is no more protective than her prior costume. She is wearing high-heels again and showing off plenty of cleavage. A thin layer of cloth is not body-armor.

If they had gone back to her roots - being an Amazon warrior and then devised a costume influence from that, it would have worked. Its already been done several times before.

Like I said, I'll give the story an issue to start getting interesting. The plan doesn't sound anything new, interesting, or unique but I've been a Wonder Woman fan for a long time. I am curious what kind of personality they will be giving her. That will decide how effective the new creative team will be...
