Okay, I need some clarifications on the Superman Enemy Team Ability.
When does the Outwit begin and end with that team ability?
A) Can someone Outwit the outwit I could use with a Superman Enemy TA? I have Goodness & Mercy and an V Intergang Medic standing adjacent. Can my opponent move up Black Panther and Outwit their "Outwit"?
B) Similar scenario - if Goodness & Mercy and the adjacent V Intergang Medic used Outwit to Outwit Spider-Girl's SP, could Black Panther move to Outwit their Outwit?
C) G&M and Intergang Outwit Toughness on a Hulk. G&M charge in (no longer adjacent to Intergang) and hit. I know Toughness is still outwitted for the attack but now that the attack has resolved is Toughness still outwitted or because adjacency has ended it returns?
D) I guess its the same as C, really, but if G&M + Intergang Outwit someones Running Shot and the Intergang gets KO'd, is that opposing Running Shot still Outwitted or is Outwit lost?
As always, rep and thanks.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
A) No they cannot outwit your outwit, because Superman Enemy TA is a team ability, and you can't outwit TA's unless you have the Dissent Feat Card.
For B), C), and D): The old rules were that when one wasn't adjacent to another the outwit was canceled. However, now with the new rule updates with the Blackest Night starter being released, now you can outwit, then one can move away from the other and the outwit is still intact for you current turn and anyone else's turn. But when it comes back to your next turn, they have to be adjacent initially to each other to use the outwit again.

No. The character with the higher point value can use Outwit. Since it does not possess Outwit, the Outwit cannot be Outwitted.
From the Player's Guide:
Quote
SUPERMAN ENEMY
When two characters that can use the Superman Enemy team ability are adjacent to each other, the character with the higher point value may be given a free action to use Outwit. That character can use Outwit until the beginning of your next turn, if it cannot use Outwit already and continues to use this ability. If the two characters have the same point value, their controller chooses which is treated as the higher point character this turn.

Same answer.

The Toughness is still Outwitted until the beginning of your next turn.

Still Outwitted.

Correct answer, but the reason is that the team ability allows the character to use Outwit. If the power allowed the character to possess the Outwit, it could be Outwitted even though it came from a team ability. (Similar to Batman and Green and Sharpshooter.)

To clarify, the two characters that can use the Superman Enemy team ability just need to come together again. They do not need to be adjacent at the beginning of the turn to use the Outwit. They just need to be adjacent during the turn when they actually use the Outwit.
Now in D, if Goodness & Mercy were KO'd then the Outwitted power would return because G&M were the ones using the TA.
Superman Enemies really became a lot more useful. I played the example combo last night and ran it correctly (except forgetting to Outwit on the only action I NEEDED to remember it) and it was pretty sick. I gotta use them some more especially since I can Outwit and then break up the "duo" and keep the Outwit.

Also, if a character with outwit somewhere on their dial is using this ability and let's say that they push to make an attack.
They could use the SETA outwit, make the attack, and then if they are knocked on to a regular outwit slot they lose the outwit gained from the SETA because they no longer meet the requirements (they can use outwit already).
They could, however, use their regular outwit at this time.
if a lower poin Wild card copies Supes Enemy TA to activate the higher pointed characters Outwit, they Outwit something, then moves away.....the OW is still good right? under the new rules? now, say they activate the OW..the higher point fig OWs invuln.....now the lower point Wild card switches Team abilities.....is the Outwit still valid?

"That character" refers to the higher point value character that used Outwit. After the Outwit is used, it doesn't matter what happens to the lower point value character.
