so after opening about 7 boosters of brave and the bold i finally get my first duo character THE ATOM AND HAWKMAN had a quick look at the dial ans was impressed by him,shich is strange for because i dont normally like duo characters
anyway ive decided to build a theme team using him its for a 300 point game and im pretty sure it fits in modern format
this is what i have
As for comic accuracy, Batman was a founding member, and Green Arrow, Hawkman, and Atom were all 1960s recruits, so I think it is comic accurate enough.
I think it will be a fun team to play. You're going to have to get the most out of the duo attack ability of A&HM to assist in not getting out-actioned if you're facing a team with more figures on it; if you're facing a team of two or three figures, use their powers instead. Two upfront Outwits obviously helps your team as well. A&HM are going to have to get up in the face of your opponents so GA doesn't get pinned and he can keep moving and shooting. Batman has to, well, be Batman.
i see your point on being out actioned against swarm teams and the like but aswell as the duo attack ability i have green arrows triple target incap to help slow them down....plus batman.
Though im not too sure about my initual mobility options ...should i carry GA or bats..... or do i throw A&HM straight into combat ?
I would have A&HM carry GA. A&HM hide behind GA's Stealthyness on the way in, and then when you get into a place that GA can cover the forward move of A&HM, hold there. Since A&HM don't have a move+attack ability on their first click, you're going to have to either a) let your opponent come to you, or b) push to attack when you base your opponent's figure. (You could also NOT push, and while your opponent is tied up with A&HM, you can use Bats & Arrow to shoot your opponent up... but A&HM are going to take a beating.)
A&HM's Outwit click can help out by stopping any move+attack ability of your opponent.
Bats can get himself into combat with his OOTS ability. This is going to open more opportunities for him.
late game defend from gypsy is good and zatanas support powers are great but now i would have to rely on A&HM for damage and have to real range threat
though i am considering swaping bats for zats
it would free up A&HM from carrying and i get prob
and a late game range bonus for GA though this does leave my outwit a bit fragile which i'll need becaus of the lack of perplex
How would you play the team n comparison to the i posted ? as it does look fun though i dont think its my style of play

I'm a huge fan of the Flash & GL duo. For a single action they can move 2 of your guys who may still be able to attack right after that.
Flash & GL would be really good with the first team you posted. Use Batman on his own and use Flash & GL's 2 TK's on the other 2. It'll be tough to defend against that.
