I think you guys are misunderstanding each other. Mouse was using "DV" to mean damage value, while you're using it to mean defense value. As far as I can tell you're agreeing on the main point here.
Also, like everyone else I love these articles, so thank you again Anonymouse!
Yeah, I meant Damage. I'll go correct it.

so what about the 14 figs with regen in this set its my fav power and i am happy to see it
Regen = burn an action to maybe get some healing. It can be a game changer, sure, but it's no guarantee. I like Steal Energy better - Making an attack and getting healed with one action sounds like a winning combo.

I'm sure the chances of this will be very rare, but if you happen to pull Peter Parker and or Norman Osborn and BOTH of their alter egos, can you decide on a per game basis which alter you will want to use, or will you have to declare one for the entire tournament?
Every relationship is fundamentally a power struggle, and the individual in power is whoever likes the other person less.

Or Eddie Brock.................yes you can decide which one to change to for Peter and Eddie (a little different for Eddie since he can not select the either or, he has 2 different powers on differnt parts of his dial, but still).
But Norman is the luck of the die;
1/3 your only choice is to AE to the Goblin (if availible from your boosters, you can switch out, if not that option is not availible for that game)
1/3 your only choice is to AE to Iron Patriot (if availible from your boosters, you can switch out, if not that option is not availible for that game)
1/3 you get to chose which AE you would like to select as a potential AE(you should be able to figure this one out by now)
If you pull the Goblin and you roll Iron Patriot you won't be able to use the AE switch that game.
And yes, when you get to make the choice you get to make the choice each game of the event.
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to traitorarmor again.

I don't understand what's changed with WCs sharing of Defenders/Sinister Syn.
FF starter changed the rules so ild Cards could benefit from an AV or Def value, but not share their own. R Taskmaster was suddenly not teaming up with Sinister Six members. Phantom Girl left the JSA behind. the BN starter reverses the rule. Now everyone can give and take.
Honestly, it seems they've changed Wild Cards with every new starter. I hope they finally pick one and stick to it.
