I don't know if this topic has been started already but I just wanted to post this topic. Just post powers or abilities for heroes or villains that you'd love to have. (Symbitoic armor like Blue Beetle or Iron Man counts too!)
Here's my list of character's powers I'd love to have:
Spider-Man
Clayface
Iron Man
Wolfsbane
Beast Boy
Batman

I can see drawbacks to each of those, but also, I have to ask, when did Batman gain super powers ???

As for the others and their drawbacks;

Spider-Man - Too sticky.
Clayface - Couldn't bathe for fear of dying.
Iron Man - Too much upkeep.
Wolfsbane - Too much shaving.
Beast Boy - Wouldn't need Wolfsbane power, but everything would be green.

Forge's power. Heck, you could probably give yourself any power... eventually.

When I meant abilities, I meant special skills or tools a character has. That's why Batman and Iron Man are on my list. I do like the way you pointed out my character selection's weaknesses. (Especially Wolfsbane's and Clayface's!)

And here I thought you wanted to be Knight Rider #2.

I wish to have the powers of that mightiest of heroes, Andrew Jackson. Impervious to bullets AND the ability to whallop people with a stick whenever I darn well feel like it.

There are a bunch that would be cool like flying or super strength but in real life a lot of them don't serve much use. I mean the Human Torch would just ruin a lot of clothes and start a bunch of fires.

If I had to pick one character I would go with my favorite X-Man,

Iceman



He is powerful, can attack and hurt just about anything. Can make his body super hard ice and bulletproof. Plus, in the real world you could have a job creating ice sculptures as people pay a ton for that. Also, putting out big forest fires that are out of control.
