Long time DP fan -love dial and accuracy, but sculpt .... looks like playdoh ballerina with lunch box on back attacking up stairs with water pistol and rubber sword - not good . compare this with Solo or Bullseye. WK please Quality assure sculpts - and if you did, fire whoever did it !!!! But end on a positive he's rocked as a gaming piece on all the teams I've played him ... just soooo darn ugly :-(
So I have given Deadpool a couple of runs now, and I can say he is a solid clix through and through. He is super great on Wildcard abuse teams, and has pulled his weight and more every game. His high attack numbers are a big draw for me, I enjoy hitting my targets, and his opening attack is a bit high (11 max I think), but I'm ok with it. I have pushed the carp outta him until I get to click 3 with the prob, and just let him stay there on that nice clix. Deadpool is tons of fun and has earned a spot on alot of teams for me. I will look forward to playing him alot.
Logan:I'm an X-Man and on 2 Avengers teams.
Mockingbird:How the hell do you do that?
Logan: Multitasking. Its my mutant power. Dont tell anyone.
Played against one for the first time tonight...absolutely vicious piece, even if you don't always hit the 5 and 6s...and if he has decent support, very potent.
So far I have used him 3 times. First time he won me a game with his PC. The Second, he died in two rounds. The third he was my last piece but survived a crit hit by rolling a 6 and lasting long enough my opponent was just about ready to give up from sheer annoyance! Completely comic accurate.
This guy is so much fun to use and isnt bad by any stretch. I have tried him about 4 times and he never ceases to make me laugh and devastate. Great Job Neca!
I think I'm the only person that HATES this fig. i dont feel like he represents deadpool, except maybe a snapshot of when he went psycho on the doctor that screwed him up. Never has deadpools regen hurt him, except when he went into a cancerous relapse that caused it to shut down (at least, not in any of the comics I've read. If there is one that this happens, I'd gladly like to see it). He should have some damage reducer called "ha, that tickled bullseye" or something. maybe some stealth. His phasing should only be top loaded, and it should be an SP "give deadpool a power action. place him adjacent to any opposing character. following this action, give deadpool one click." this represents how he uses his belt to get to a fight, but it makes him sick. ask Weasel how that sickness feels (in one of the comics he uses DPs belt, and like 3 panels are him vomitting). He needs perplex that affects all characters (opposing or friendly) within like 6 spaces that subtracts 1 from all their stats (because he is shouting something rediculous, and everyone is getting frustrated and confused.) His regen power should be more like Wolverines, but completely random. maybe the d6 mechanic, but 1-2 he doesnt heal, 3-4, heal 1, 5-6 heal two. something like that would be good. this just doesnt strike me as deadpool, except that the dial colors are random. for a figure that cried for a remake with special powers, he didnt get any. He could have been so much better. If i get this guy, I'll be trading him very quickly.
Anyways, thats my rant.. Feel free to disagree with me. enjoy playing with your fake wannabe deadpool :p
Hey, HydraBob! My "Fake Wannabe Deadpool" beats your Nonexistent, overcomplicated Deadpool just by stepping on the map! If you get one and wanna trade it, trade it to me so I can add it to my Deadpool Army. I'm fairly sure his Regen's Roll of 1 effect represents his randomness and how he'll walk into something stupid or just make a mistake in Deadpool fashion. Lighten up. He's accurate and the most random figure ever made, up there with Legacy Jokers and LE Guardian of Eternity. This is as simple as a random figure gets. Just enjoy it man.
Doubled up and played two today (in a 1000 point, 3 way match). One lasted about half way (though I made a huge error with him) and the other took a solid 35-40 clicks of damage (after trait reduction) over the course of the game, being the 4th last figure there. He finally succumbed because I rolled a 1 on the trait when he was on a regen click, but man... what a monster. Took on Thanos, Doom, Richards, Gotham Cops, Ares Mechs... just didn't quit. He's just been added to my top 5 clix ever. And the whole time... he felt like Deadpool
if there is any piece that is loyal to it's character, it's this deadpool. He doesn't guarantee victory but he will royally screw up your opponents plans. His ridiculous regeneration is what i call the perplex killer. i've played him in games where my opponent will perplex their damage up to like 5 or 6 and he's good on a roll of 4 or 5 but superb on 6. the only downside to him is he requires some good dice rolls, otherwise he drops like a rock. overall great piece, play him any chance i get
Look, everything that can be said about this piece (positive, negative, even neutral) has been said on these posts so regardless of your opinion play him if you get one (rarity I believe being another plus) because you'll see that this is simply one of the most enjoyable pieces to field in the game. Somebody just rolled a 6 on his trait right now as you're reading this, while some poor punk (probably me) just rolled a 1. Either way, DEVASTATING!
By far the funniest piece to play and play against, it will either have u cheering or cursing. I feel it is very comic accurate to deadpool. When i played him ive rolled 1's and ive rolled 6's on his trait. I cant wait to play him again :D
Rorschach/deadpool song (look it up on youtube if you don't know what this is about)... yeah it is funny stuff. i wasted over an hour of my life watching those vids. It t was a good waste though.
Dial 1-800-deadpoo. Because deadpool has to many letters.
