Are there any Heroclix players in New Zealand?

I have been a Heroclix player and judge for 6 years and moved to New Zealand early this year. So far I have not found any Heroclix players over here.

Is there a Heroclix community that I have not found?

In order to try to start a Heroclix community I will be running Heroclix demos at the Battlecry 2010 gaming convention in Auckland on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of February 2010.

If there are enough players in New Zealand that are interested I will run a Heroclix tournament (with prizes) on the Sunday the 21st.

If you are out there post a reply. Perhaps this event can be the start of something great.

I think they are more into LotR-Minatures over there


Its probably not possible but just imagine, s LotR Miniature Game on the original Set of the movie

There used to be the occasional KiwiClix player posting on HCR, but I don't recall any recently. That's not to say that they're all gone, though - a search of the Members List shows two HCR members who are registered as living in New Zealand, both active recently - lurker and KiwiGirl (who has an astonishingly awesome animated avatar).

Just gotta say I have fully been enjoying the return of heroclix to Aucks here in NZ....
Old starfire runs some awesome events with twists and quirks coming in as we gain more experience. Good stuff Steve-o!
I got so inspired to dig out my old clix that i convinced two mates to turn up last week for the two 300pt teams(one bad/one good) and they had a ball. so much so that us three are all making and doing our own mod figures of ourselves.

Keep an eye out in the future for Blacklung, The Procrastinator and Doobie to slam their way into the clix universe.

and it's been awesome to meet new players, both new and those who have had clix stashed away in their wardrobes for years.
