Ok, here's what I'm thinking about:

MU Cyclops 50
MU Marvel Girl 40
MU Beast 50
MU Iceman 60
MU Bishop 100

I think it's got a pretty solid show of force in Bishop, Ice & Cyclops as well as good support between Bishop, Ice & Marvel Girl & Beast is just a quick moving hitter.

This is my first attempt at a team, keep in mind I'm very new & I have these figs available.

Plus, it's got the required 1/100 pts for a theme team & then some, right? Plus w/ the X-Men TA & Bishop's Regen it helps to keep everyone alive.

Thoughts on strategies for this team? Thoughts on the team in general? The only other fig I have w/ the x-men TA or keyword is pete wisdom right now so if I wanna try & use the x-men theme here I'm kinda stuck w/ this team

I've built exactly the same team,however I have not tried it as of yet.I
have played Bishop before and he is a great fig,one thing you could try with this team is to TK enemies away from Bishop with Marvel Girl so he can make full use of his RCE when on those clix.Other than that just give it a run and see how it goes.

I've played against that team with The Runaways. Bishop was the only one who did anything worthwhile. It's a cool looking force though!

Ok, so I played this team today against a martial-arts team (including Daken lol) & it straight killed. Bishop, Cyclops & Ice Man's Running shot really slaughtered the 0 range martial artists while Beast's bounding beast let him rush right in & just take arashi apart. Daken did take out Ice but Bishop offed him after that, before his regen kicked in to save him.

I did have to push everyone often to really make the X-Men carry the day but ultimately it was worth it for the results, thanks to Bishop's leadership consistently giving me 4 actions for the turns. The only one who did pretty much nothing is Marvel Girl who failed EVERY dice roll she made!

I'm pretty proud of my X-Men though, but I hafta say that likely the game woulda been less skewed had the Yakuza team had more than 2 ranged attackers.

Still, the Yakuza had practically double the amount of people the X-Men so once they DID get in close Beast & Cyclops did get a good thrashing & as I said, Iceman did go out.
