To each their own I suppose. I just like assigning my stats places.. That was always a big part of the game to me.. At least MU1 had the gear that allowed for some kind of customization.. And the fact that there were more than 4 powers per character.
I do too, but, and I have no idea what your multiplayer experience with this game is like, playing with other people before was an outright pain in the ###. Don't get me wrong, I still think they could have fleshed out the RPG like they did before, and still kept some of their new innovations. But the in-action leveling was addressing a pretty serious flaw in the game design. And while I disagree with the move to water down the RPG, it does remove a lot of analysis paralysis by your fellow players.

I blame the costumes, and the restrictions on who you could play with the Civil War scenario.
The lack of skins was pretty stupid. I mean, they're skins. Skins are some of the smallest, easiest bits of development possible when it comes to games.

Speaking of watered down RPG elements, Mass Effect 3 better bring them back. There's no reason to water down the RPG in a single-player RPG. I can take as long as I want, thanks.

I concur. I hope so, anyway. But let's not bring back the elevator rides.
Or the Mako. NO MAKO FOR ME3!

I'm not going to be very popular here:
I would like for them to bring both back.
I know people hated the elevators, but I would prefer them to having a load screen every 5 seconds. There was a level of immersion in the first game that was not present in the second.
And the Mako just needed some controls tweaking. Otherwise, it was a pretty awesome game element that added more immersion to the game. Oh, you want to go somewhere? Then you better do it yourself.

Yeah I can see what you mean when you talk about multiplayer.. I agree.. couch multiplayer it was bearable but online I can see it being irritating. However if they did a "character pauses" and everyone else can keep going in online multiplayer and the character warps to where the team is automatically or whatever (and can still take damage). Just let them take as long as they want but realize they are vulnerable.
But I don't like the watered down RPG element as that was one of the things that made it the most fun to me.

Well, I guess I feel that the tiny window they give you now, could fit a lot more information and have a larger interface.
