Why is it so much harder to hit Wolfsbane than Wolverine?
Because she have SS + CR + Shape change and wolvie only have SS...
Very good dial but reall butt-ugly sculpt... one of the worst ever. Looks like a 7urd with teeth.
Thank you DrugSex, for that useless feedback. Your comment was as classy as your user name. What I meant was why is it that Wolfsbane is so insanely harder to hit than Wolverine, or any of the other X force members for that matter? I don't remember her ever being that defensive in the comics.
while i understand her sculpt is accurate, its ugly, so excuse me for replacing it whith the old one. the overuse of traits in wos is shown in her dial: not a single defensive power, they could have made her trait a full dial white power, or a full dial of one and made the other a trait. but a blank across her dial? what's the point? just to gain the outwit protection? that hardly seems accurate. i mean, i bet batman could figure out a way to get around her animal sense, you know?
BANG, pa-TING
"Going once/ Going twice/ Three times I'm gone"
Not only overpowered for who she is, but pretty inaccurate too. All she did in X Force was get captured and tortured by petty thugs. Does that warrant high defense? Also, she was brainwashed and convinced to attack her teammate, so the Battle Fury ignoring Mind Control seems a bit inaccurate to.
i dont really know the character but playability whise she is absolutely phenomanel the animal keyword in the last couple sets has been getting alot of great figures (puma, det. chimp, beast boy, rocket raccoon, gorilla man, gorilla city warrior, grodd, etc.)
unlike x-23, wolfsbane actually have a good chance of chasing down even range character. Stealth makes him very hard to kill, and SS+SC combo will keep him alive while he chases down his prey.
A nasty dial, but she doesn't deserve to be that hard to hit. A trait that grants two defense powers on a dial with no powers in the defense slot? Whatsupwiththat?
Well, from what I've come to understand, if an individual Power is named in a Trait, that power can still be countered. In other words, the whole Trait isn't ignored like if you counter a SP. For Wolfsbane, it just means that you'd need more than one Outwitter to get rid of her defensive powers.
As to why the designers did it like that for Wolfsbane, I haven't a clue. I think they could've either alternated CR and SS or done three of one then three of the other. Shapechange is out of place on her, since she doesn't really use her power for fooling people. I actually think that more Battle Fury and some Flurry would've been nice touches.
Why is she so hard to hit. Because, she has the power to change into a full, for legged wolf, not just her werewolf form. As many people know, four leg animals can be hard as hell to catch and hit when they are going all out (try catching your dog when you open the backyard door). Plus, as many hunters know, animals with high levels of hearing and smell senses are also hard to catch. It had been established way back in New Mutants that she was the 2nd strongest New Mutant (after Sunspot) when in her werewolf form, and now thanks to what Elixir did to her in X-Force she's even stronger/tougher. The real only thing, comic wise, that holds her back is her moral code, but as she proved with Angel, when released from inhibitions, she's a real monster to deal with.
That's why she's so hard to hit.
One of the top piece in Web of Spiderman. Maybe even the best of the set. She has been disregarded because of Nighcrawler and Bullseye, but in the right hand she's a real pain to deal with.
You know everyone loves to be the villain. Hugh Grant
