I listened to both, and was leaning toward Emmylou Harris. But after listening to both a couple of times more, I have to give the nod to:

The original by Bob Dylan.

I am very on again/off again when it comes to Dylan's vocals. But I think his vocals best fit the overall mood of this song. This is one I will be looking to download soon, actually.

I respect Dylan's influence and songwriting, but like a lot of people, I'm not usually a big fan of his vocals. So when I saw this match-up, I expected to be voting for Emmylou Harris, but this was one of those cases where Dylan's voice actually suited the song, while Harris really didn't sell it to me. Bob Dylan.

I didn't read the other postings before writing up mine. I find I echo songwriterz almost exactly. Though I could have just as easily written just what soxolas had.
