Which team is better as is? I'm looking to play a team that my opponent won't necessarily expect but still do fairly well.
Justice Society
DC75 Green Lantern - 145
BB Shazam - 140
By Jimmy Woo - 10 (best pog attacker, Theme PCer)
BB Yellow Lantern - 5
300 points, +2, 1 Theme PC
X-Men
MM Cuckoo x4 - 160
MM Professor X - 131
BB Violet Lantern - 5
296 points, +5, 2 Theme PC
JS to put on a world of hurt or X-M to be annoying beyond belief with MC!
I like both, I really like JS better but I feel X-M is more competitive because I get some outwit from X, Perplex to every cuckoo he can see plus himself, crap tons of MC, and nearly a guaranteed hit when I'm MCing from 8-13 Range with 12 atk values!
What do you all feel is best and do you think either of them are competitive in a tournament environment?
the justice society would have the easiest chance of being competitive due to the durability. not saying it would be perfect, haha. but one good charge from a stealther or battle fury enraged figure would march up to you and nom on those cuckoos. and trust me, Xavier does not live long alone.
I know you like the Green Lantern (me too!) but for a better bet, i'd go to Mr Terrific for outwit and that trait of supreme justice, and Wonder Woman for transporter/special charge. Combined with Captain Marvel, theyre 299 points!
If you'd like X-men anyways, i would suggest replacing one of the Cuckoos with a Mu&Mo X-23 for the close combat defense and also being able to stealth off line of fire as needed. that would really bolster the team up (from experience, i say this- i've used yours and this team before!)
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!
I'd use the WW if I had her so to beef up the team I may need to think of something else too.
I don't play X-Men much and am not a big fan so when I saw that those figs would work I said what the hay! I like the idea of X-23 blocking off LoF, but she isn't keyworded X-Men. Checking the units section I didn't see any modern stealthers I could use...even the Joe Chill pog is too many points (if I keep a cuckoo and the lantern in).
Any suggestions or comments on any of these teams?

either swapping a cuckoo out for MuMo R Jean Grey for added wheelchair mobility, or 2 of them, and the lantern, for the new Nightcrawler. Not having to worry as much about stealth is a great thing (his drag-ish power is awesome!.. heck the whole thing is awesome.)
... as 1for JS, Liberty Belle isnt AS useful as WW, but not a bad trade off either with her 18 opening def, and 2nd click with 18 def and HSS. no carrying, but you could also do the Robot Hourman from JL, although i personally never cared for him.. stats too low for what he does- HOWEVER.... since he isnt going to be your primary attack, being the supporting attack may well be the best thing for him. PX'ing Captain Marvel, or extra PC does not hurt. RS with 6 range, 9AV and 2 damage screams mop up duty (not normal in a 100 point piece, but meh..). Plus, invulnerability helps him last that first click if you want PX, and push for the 10 AV and 3 damage. And if you are going to play him, play dirty- Light objects can be thrown for 8 range, giving him an effective sneaky 11.
