And this is why real-world logic or even comic-book logic should be considered a completely separate entity from game logic. As much as I love comics, I try to shut out any preconceptions I have of what characters "should" be able to do when considering what they can or can't do in the game.

this is supposed to be a comic book game. if they want the game to be more accurate, telekinesis should be changed to allow that

This isn't the "make the game more comic book accurate" forum, though. This is the rules forum, where, by necessity, the only topic is how the rules actually work, not how they should. I'd like to see a TK that could drop people off the roof. I'd approve of that change to the game rules. But that discussion is for another forum, not here. The rules question has been answered. Comic book accuracy does not have any bearing on the rules questions.
