I couldn't even get in. I was 700 and something in line, waited 10 min B-Sing listening to music and whatever, then POOF I get DC'd from DCUO. I elected to not waste my time again, and save my excitement for the real thing...

I hear Jim Lee is in game. That, or they are stress testing.

I wish there was some word on what the preorder weapons and gear actually do.

I am probably going to get it. I have Gamefly and am cancelling my subscription to it, and Netflix. both have been a waste for me. This seems to awesome.

I didn't even know it came out this week though - last I heard they had to stop the Beta because it was so broken. I take it they fixed everything?

I think I will pick it up when Green Lantern comes out. Right now its just not good enough with the limited powers and limited costume options.

I've been told the $199 lifetime is PC only as well, which sucks for anyone not buying the PC version....

As for making Marvel type Characters.. it all depends on the armour you collect during the Game... but I beat up a Wolverine looking guy, as well as a She Hulk looking player...

i played in the beta a bit on ps3, made it to level 10 and really enjoyed it. i have played lots of mmo games and this held up nicely, the setting alone makes it hard to not succeed, but the pacing of missions and leveling seemed pretty nice. the loot system is a huge improvement over coh and i had a blast playing this game overall.

I got it, traded some games in. I started loading the disc at 7:30 PM - it's now 9 PM and it still isn't done loading. Hope it's a one time load time, it's still loading. SWEET. With my attention span/patience I will be trading it in next week.

I went out and bought a PS3 just to get this game. Hadn't realized it was coming out so soon, but it was a good excuse to finally get another PS3 after mine crashed last year. But it looks like I'll need to go to bed before it actually gets done downloading. Sigh.

I'm giving the game it's free month to impress me and then we'll see. This is my first MMO since the one month I gave City of Heroes back when I had to buy that game to get the Clix inside.

Took me an hour and a half to download. But as my first MMO, it's pretty overwhelming once you get to your base/hideout. Lots to see and do.

So far it was worth the wait. Good storyline to setup why you have super powers. The fighting is awesome. I've barely scratched the surface, but I didn't want to go to bed last night. I shouldn't of anyway, we have mice in our house currently scratching in the walls and it keeps me up all night. Awesome.

But yea, from the hour I played last night, it's definitely awesome. Can't wait to get further into everything that can be done - especially forming groups with people. I don't even know what server I'm on, I think #6 I just picked the first one. My heroe's name is Jarmo - he's a completely dink - so I named him after me.

A friend of mine has it and he said he'd save one of his character slots for me to play with when I go to his house. He had the beta and I made up a mummy sorcerer named Doc Pharoah. He seemed pretty cool, so I will probably just remake him again, since the beta stuff is all gone now.
